SCAMLIST

27.10.2026

This page expands the pinned Rules and FAQ of the channel. Where the two differ, this text applies.

Definitions

  • Entry, post: one message in @scamlist about one account. Claims found together are published as one post; a claim proven later gets a new post that links to the earlier one with «‹ previous case».
  • Case: one closed forum claim or one accepted moderation report.
  • Claim: one sum inside a case. A post lists every upheld claim against the person known at the time, one by one, with their total; a later post about the same person repeats the list with the new claim added.
  • Source: the origin of the listing, printed in the status line of every post with a date.
  • Off-market claim: a forum claim about a deal made outside the forum market, without the forum guarantor.
  • Market (guarantor) deal: a deal made through the forum market with its guarantor. These are not mirrored.
  • Removed: a post taken out of the channel by an upheld dispute, an administrator's recorded decision, or the source lifting its ban. The record stays with moderation so the same case is not re-posted by mistake; a removed person is «not in the database» for Check a user.
  • Moderation: the @scamlist team that reviews reports and disputes sent through @proofscambot.
  • The bot: @proofscambot. Menu: Check a user · Report a scammer · My account (balance, Following, everything you sent) · Dispute an entry · Support · Rules & FAQ · Advertising · Language.

Using the bot

To use @proofscambot you subscribe to the channel @scamlist and tap «✅ Check subscription» — once, also if you were subscribed already. That tap accepts these rules and the privacy policy; the bot records when you did it. If you leave the channel, the bot asks you to subscribe again. Inline mode (@proofscambot username in any chat) works without a subscription.

Checking a user

Before a deal: @proofscambot → Check a user, send one of: a Telegram @username or a t.me link, a numeric Telegram ID, a lolz.team nickname, or a lolz.team profile link (lolz.team, zelenka.guru, lolz.live — the link also works when simply sent to the bot, even inside a longer message, as long as it is the only one). A word without @ is looked up as a lolz.team nickname first; when the forum has no such nickname it is checked as a Telegram username, and the result says so. The line above the result names what was recognised and which accounts were checked. The Telegram field of a forum profile is self-declared — anyone can type any Telegram into their profile — so the result says «given in the profile», never «their Telegram», and the verdict names the identifier the entry was actually found by. Two more ways need no typing. Forward any message from the person to the bot: it checks the sender's Telegram account and the line above the result says it came from a forwarded message. When the sender hid their profile from forwarding, the message came from a group or a channel, or it is from a bot or from yourself, the bot says so and asks for the @username or ID — it checks people only. Or tap «📇 Pick from chats» on the check screen, then «📇 Open my chats» at the bottom, and choose the person in your chat list; the keyboard with the picker is shown only while you choose and is removed right after. Inside a form (a report, a dispute, a support conversation) a forwarded message stays part of that form; at the first step of a report and in «➕ Add people» its sender is taken as the person. In any chat, type @proofscambot username for an inline result. The 🔍 Check a user button under every post opens the same check. A username change does not clear a listing; posts are tied to the Telegram ID. A @username is checked by the Telegram ID it belongs to today: when a name that a listed person used has passed to another account, the result is about that other account and adds a line that the name used to belong to a person in the database, with that person's ID and their entry; when Telegram cannot be asked, the match by name is shown with a warning to compare the ID before the deal; when the name no longer exists in Telegram, the entry found by it says so. When the person is in the database, the result in the bot also lists up to five other usernames we have seen for the same Telegram ID, newest first («🔁 Other usernames of this account: …»). They come from our own records only — the entry, the reports about it, Telegram's own answers when we looked the name up and the watchdog in connected groups; nobody outside the database is tracked. Channel posts do not carry this line.

The check reads our database only — closed lolz.team arbitration decisions and reports reviewed by moderation — and shows what is in it today. It is not a vetting service: a missing record is not a recommendation and says nothing about the person or the deal; the decision and the risk stay with the person making it.

Open claims. When an arbitration claim that names the account is open on lolz.team, the result in the bot adds a separate note: a claim is filed, there is no decision yet, it is not an entry in the database and not proof of anything, with a link to the thread. The verdict («in the database» / «not in the database») does not change. The note appears only when the claim's own text or the defendant's lolz profile names that Telegram account; it is not shown in inline results.

Spam flag. When CAS (cas.chat, Combot Anti-Spam) has banned the checked Telegram account as a spammer, the result adds, as its last line, «🟠 CAS anti-spam list: flagged as a spammer in chats (offences: N)» — this is about spam, not fraud, it is not an entry in the database and the verdict does not change; to show it, the account's Telegram ID is sent to cas.chat and the answer is kept for 24 hours.

Forum guarantors (switched off for now, until the list is filled; this is how it works when it is on). The result in the bot marks an official guarantor of the lolz.team forum («🛡 On the lolz.team guarantor list: …», saying whether the Telegram ID was compared or only the username) and warns when a username only looks like one — the same letters with «_», «-» or «.» added, l / I / 1 or o / 0 swapped, one letter changed, or a word such as «support», «bot», «official», «real» or digits added («⚠️ The username looks like guarantor @…, but this is a different account — possibly a fake», with the real guarantor's ID when we know it); the verdict does not change, and the mark does not guarantee a deal. The list is the forum's own (lolz.team/guarantor/). Our staff copy it by hand, one guarantor at a time, by Telegram username or forum profile, and switch one off when the forum drops them; nothing is imported automatically, and a guarantor is matched by Telegram ID whenever we know it. The mark repeats the forum's status — it is not our recommendation, and we vouch for nobody (see Impersonation). A deal through a fake guarantor or a fake Fragment page can be reported with the «🎭 Fake guarantor / Fragment» scheme.

Following an account

In the bot, «🔔 Following» is your list of the people you deal with. Add them with «➕ Add people» — several at once, as @username, t.me link, Telegram ID, lolz.team nickname or profile link — or with «🔔 Follow» under a check result. You get a private message when: an arbitration claim on lolz.team has a listed account as defendant or names it (filed, not decided — every such message says so); the forum upholds a claim and the account is listed in @scamlist; the account is listed after a moderation review; an entry is removed; a claim you were told about is closed without a ban or without a decision. You choose which of these kinds you receive. There is no time limit; a person stays on the list until you remove them. Up to 15 people per person are free. More places can be bought in packs — 5 places for 3 $ (the button always shows the current pack and price) — paid only from your balance in the bot, which is topped up via @cyberpolice («💳 Top up balance» in «👤 My account»); no other payment is taken. A pack is a one-time purchase and the places stay yours; it is not a subscription. Only the place on the list is paid: notifications are the same, and come as fast, for everyone, and if anything goes wrong nobody is removed from a list — only adding new people stops. Refunds go through support: the money returns to your balance, and the places are taken back only if they are free. A record of each purchase is kept permanently as a payment record, even after the list is emptied. Staff have no limit. Nobody — including a listed person — is told who has them on a list or how many people do. Records are deleted when you remove them, or after 90 days in which the bot could not reach you.

Sources

There are two sources and no others.

  • lolz.team arbitration. A claim in the arbitration section is closed by the forum as solved, and the forum then acts on the account in one of two ways. We mirror that decision.
  • The forum bans the account as a scammer. The status line reads «🚫 Banned as a scammer by lolz.team arbitration — DD.MM.YYYY».
  • The arbitrator upholds the claim, the money is not returned, and the forum restricts the account («Ограниченный доступ») instead of banning it. The status line reads «⛔ Access restricted by lolz.team: claim lost, money not returned». Such a case is never published automatically: a moderator reviews it first.

The account must have at least 100 likes on the forum, so throw-away accounts are not mirrored. The Telegram account in the post is the one named in the claim; if the claim names none, it is the Telegram linked in the defendant's lolz profile, and the post says so. In both cases it must be a real, existing Telegram account. The 📂 Proof on lolz.team button opens the forum thread. We did not take part in the case and do not re-try the forum claim; a dispute on a forum case is reviewed on the proof you send (see Evidence standard and disputes). Only off-market claims are mirrored; market (guarantor) deals are not mirrored.

  1. Moderation review. A report filed through the bot whose evidence moderation reviewed and accepted. The status line reads «🚫 Listed after evidence review by @scamlist moderation». The 📂 Evidence button opens in the bot the files and links the reporter submitted and moderation accepted. The post states what the evidence showed.

Forum reversals. If the forum lifts the ban or the restriction behind a case: the profile is re-checked on a schedule, administrators are notified, and after a second check ten minutes later the posts are removed — unless an administrator holds the removal for up to 30 days, after which the profile is re-checked again. Any other change in the forum decision can be sent to moderation through a dispute. Repayment alone does not change the post; if the forum lifts its ban or restriction after repayment, that is what removes it.

Review procedure

  1. Open @proofscambot → Report a scammer.
  2. Send the username or Telegram ID, the amount and one line about the deal.
  3. Attach the proof or a link to it.

Outcomes, delivered as a reply in the bot: listed; more proof needed; declined with a reason. A declined report may be resubmitted with new proof. The status of every report you filed is in @proofscambot → 👤 My account.

Amounts above $50,000 and anything unusual go through @proofscambot → Support → Write to support.

What counts as proof and what is not accepted: see Evidence standard and disputes.

Evidence standard and disputes

What we accept as proof, what we reject, how forum cases get in, how a listing is disputed and how long it takes — in one place. The bot opens this section with «📏 Evidence standard» in «📂 Rules & FAQ».

What counts as proof

All three parts are required for a moderation report:

  1. A full chat export or a screen recording of the whole conversation.
  2. The transaction matching the agreed sum: hash, receipt or statement line.
  3. The agreed terms and what was delivered.

Accepted, for example: a Telegram chat export with the media folder; a screen recording that scrolls the full chat from first message to last; a transaction hash whose amount and time match the chat; a receipt from a payment service showing the recipient.

What is not accepted

As proof, for example: a cropped or edited screenshot; a single forwarded message; a story told without files; a transaction that does not match the agreed sum; a link to a chat we cannot open.

As a case: open disputes and unfinished deals; delay, quality or price arguments; mutual claims; deals in illegal goods or services; reports with no deal behind them; market (guarantor) deals on the forum.

Anything that does not meet the standard receives «more proof needed» and may be completed later.

How forum cases get in

A claim in the lolz.team arbitration section is closed by the forum as solved, and the forum either bans the account as a scammer or, when the claim is upheld and the money is not returned, restricts the account; a restricted account is never published automatically — a moderator reviews it first. Only off-market claims are mirrored, the forum account must have at least 100 likes, and the Telegram account in the post — the one named in the claim, or else the one linked in the defendant's lolz profile — must be a real, existing account. We mirror the forum's decision: we did not take part in the case and do not re-try it. When the forum lifts its ban or restriction, the posts are removed. Details: Sources.

How a dispute works

Routes: press ⚖️ Dispute under the post, or open @proofscambot → Dispute an entry. Send your side with proof: the chat, the delivery, the transaction. A dispute on a forum case is reviewed on the proof you send.

While examined: the post is marked «⚖️ Under review». It stays visible.

Upheld: every post about the person is removed from the channel. The person receives the reason in the bot; the removal is recorded with date, reason and the moderator who decided.

Declined: you receive the reason in the bot. A dispute may be filed again with new proof.

Repayment: repayment alone does not change a post. For a forum case the post follows the forum decision — when the forum lifts its ban or restriction, the posts are removed. For a moderation case the post states what the evidence showed; repayment after listing does not undo it. A dispute is about whether the listing was correct, not about repayment.

Re-listing: a removed case comes back only by an administrator's explicit decision (for example when the forum bans the profile again), and it goes through the same channel queue as a new post.

Nothing is deleted silently. A post is corrected (wrong username or ID, via support in the bot), or removed (upheld dispute, forum reversal, or an administrator's recorded decision); every removal is logged with date, reason and who decided.

Time limits

Disputes are reviewed within 7 days. This is the only response time we state.

«📂 Rules & FAQ» in the bot also shows figures counted from our database: the cases in it now, the disputes filed and how many were upheld, and the typical time a report took to be decided. They describe what has happened so far; they are not a promise of a time.

Advertising policy

Paid posts and broadcasts are marked #paid_ad. Every advertiser and the paying account are checked against the database before the ad runs; listed accounts are refused. An ad is not a listing, a badge or a recommendation. Advertising is requested through @proofscambot → Advertising.

There are no paid removals, paid listings or badges of any kind.

Checked mark on ads. When the account that pays for an ad post has no records in our database, no open lolz.team claims and no lolz.team ban or restriction, moderation may add one line under #paid_ad: “🔎 Checked by @scamlist on DD.MM.YYYY: no records in our database and no open lolz.team claims as of that date. Not a guarantee.” The line only describes that check on that date. It is not a guarantee, a recommendation or a sign that a deal is safe, and it is not sold: the price of the ad is the same with or without it. If the advertiser gets a record or an open claim while the ad is up, moderation is told and removes the line.

Guarantors and OTC chats may share a link to @proofscambot of their own. Such a link counts only totals: how many people opened the bot through it, how many were new, and how many checks and Following adds they made. Nobody — neither the partner nor us on that screen — sees who came or whom they checked; the team's own taps and bot bursts are not counted. A partner link is not a recommendation or a badge: we vouch for nobody.

Impersonation and «trusted by» claims

We vouch for nobody. There are no trusted middlemen, verified sellers or badges connected to @scamlist. Any «trusted by @scamlist» claim is false.

Anyone offering removal, listing or a badge in our name is not connected to us. Forward the offer to @proofscambot → Support → Write to support. Accounts impersonating @scamlist or @proofscambot go through the same route.

Personal data

Published fields: display name (on the banner, as the account shows it publicly), username, Telegram ID, amount, scheme, link to the decision or evidence, and — for forum cases — a Telegram account linked in the defendant's lolz profile. No phones, e-mail addresses, real names, photos or documents in the post.

For a person in the database we keep the usernames we have seen for their Telegram ID, with the dates we first and last saw each, for as long as the entry is kept. The earlier ones are shown in the bot («🔁 Other usernames of this account»), not in the channel. Usernames of people who are not in the database are not kept.

For forum cases we also keep, for moderation only, the other public contacts listed in the defendant's lolz profile (Discord, VK, Steam, Matrix, GitHub, website). They are never published. Phone numbers, e-mail addresses, names and free-text profile fields are not collected.

Evidence files attached to moderation cases open in the bot as the reporter submitted them and moderation accepted them. Evidence may contain the parties' chat. It is shown only inside the bot, never in the channel.

Contact

Everything goes through @proofscambot: checks, reports, disputes, My account (balance, Following, what you sent), Support, Rules & FAQ, Advertising, Language (English, Russian). Support in the bot (Support → Write to support) is the contact route. There is no button to message a listed user.

Disclaimer

Forum cases mirror a public decision we did not examine. Moderation cases state what the submitted evidence showed. Every post names its source and date. We are not a court. Use the entries to check before a deal. Do not message, pressure or harass a listed user.

Change log

  • 27.10.2026 — Using the bot: a subscription to @scamlist is required; «✅ Check subscription» accepts these rules and the privacy policy, and the time of that tap is recorded.
  • 12.10.2026 — Proof standard and Dispute procedure gathered into one section, Evidence standard and disputes, with how forum cases get in and the time limits; nothing in them changed. Checking a user: up to five other usernames of a person in the database («🔁 Other usernames of this account»), in the bot only. Personal data: those usernames are kept while the entry is kept. Review procedure: the status of a report is in 👤 My account.
  • 12.10.2026 — Checking a user: a forwarded message checks its sender; «📇 Pick from chats» checks a person chosen in Telegram's contact picker.
  • 09.10.2026 — Following an account: more places can be bought from the bot balance (5 for 3 $, one-time, not a subscription); only the place is paid, notifications are the same for everyone; refunds through support.
  • 09.10.2026 — Following an account: the list of people you deal with — several added at once, no time limit, up to 15 free, no pause. Checking a user: accepted input forms (Telegram @username, t.me link or ID; lolz.team nickname or profile link, also sent on its own); a word without @ is a forum nickname first; the Telegram field of a forum profile is self-declared.
  • 08.10.2026 — Following an account: new subsection (private notifications about claims filed on lolz.team, decisions, listings and removals; 90 days, renewable; nobody is told who follows whom). Checking a user: the note about an open arbitration claim (filed, not decided; not an entry; only when the claim or the defendant's profile names the account; not in inline results). Menu list in Definitions updated.
  • 02.10.2026 — Forum cases: the forum may restrict an account instead of banning it after an upheld, unpaid claim; such cases are listed after moderator review with their own status line. Minimum of 100 forum likes stated. The Telegram account may come from the defendant's lolz profile when the claim names none. Other public profile contacts are kept for moderation only. A lifted restriction removes posts like a lifted ban.
  • 29.09.2026 — Claims about one account found together are published as one post; later claims get a new post linking back.
  • 28.09.2026 (evening) — Dispute outcome changed: an upheld dispute now removes the posts instead of editing them (the former «cleared» status no longer exists). Added: automatic removal when lolz.team lifts the ban behind a case (re-check, notice to administrators, second check after ten minutes); «Removed» and re-listing defined; «Nothing is deleted silently» kept, with «corrected or removed» spelled out. Later the same evening: precedence given to this text; 30-day hold by administrators and the re-check after it; administrator take-down and correction via Support named as routes; claim list per post defined.
  • 28.09.2026 — First full text published. Pinned Rules and FAQ rewritten: Check a user moved first; source wording aligned with the status lines; off-market rule, proof standard as a required set, dispute procedure (including refiling a declined dispute with new proof), advertising policy and personal-data fields added.
