Rules for Poco F5 Pro Groups
@ctivityEdited Unified Rules for Poco F5 Pro/K60 Official Community
Added rules:
- Any malicious files shared by anyone regardless of the intent will be banned. Allowing sharing of such modules under the intentions of ''giving an example'' ''sent for fun'' creates a loophole for sending malicious modules or scripts. Even though its already mentioned in rules that admins are not responsible for the files shared, it doesnt make any sense at all to still allow them to be shared. Typing in bold so that it stands out more: DO NOT SHARE ANY MALICIOUS SCRIPTS MODULES OR FILES OR ROMS etc IN ANY GIVEN CASE. YOU WILL BE BANNED.
Original rules are mentioned below:

Presented here is an extensive set of guidelines and regulations applicable to all Poco/Xiaomi/Redmi groups under the Poco Accord Federation. These rules are imperative for ensuring uniformity and order across these groups.
In addition to the standard member rules, specific regulations are outlined for administrators to uphold. These guidelines are aimed at simplifying moderation, minimizing clutter, and fostering meaningful interactions across all groups. This approach seeks to avoid fragmented rules and distinct moderation styles often seen in various groups.
It's important to note that any breach of these rules will result in a warning, with repeated violations potentially leading to a ban.
Rules for all members:
1. Communicate in English only.
2. Avoid inquiries about release dates, respecting the "no ETA" policy.
3. Maintain respect towards fellow members, admins, compilers, and developers. Address conflicts privately rather than in the main chat. Disrespectful behavior will lead to an immediate ban.
4. Explicitly prohibit NSFW/pornographic content in both the main and off-topic chats.
5. While off-topic discussions are permissible to an extent, any excessive divergence should continue in the designated off-topic group (#ot).
6. Strongly forbid any form of piracy, including its promotion or encouragement.
7. Profile pictures that display disrespect, NSFW content, or disturbing imagery are to be altered or removed upon instruction. Failure to comply will result in a ban.
8. Refrain from promoting any content. Utilize the "@admin" command to report spammers.
9. Do not randomly forward ROMs from any channel, as it amounts to promotion.
10. Maintain a simple name, avoiding distracting or overly elaborate characters. Standard ASCII characters are acceptable. Emojis are permissible. Admins may request a name change if it proves overly distracting on a case-by-case basis.
11. Highlight the potential risks of using Magisk modules claiming to optimize, enhance performance, or modify hardware settings. Users who choose to use such modules do so at their own risk, with no support provided thereafter.
Rules for admins:
0. Emphasize respect and courtesy in all interactions. Admin status does not grant dictatorial authority; treat all members and fellow admins with kindness.
1. Refrain from unbanning members previously banned by other admins, as it undermines the initial decision.
2. Provide a descriptive rationale when taking action against a user to prevent confusion when queried by the affected individual or other admins.
3. Upon banning a spammer reported by a user, delete the report message along with the bot's command to avoid unnecessary notifications to other admins.
4.Admins with temporary media unlocking permitted only for troubleshooting during active admin presence.
Developer Guidelines:
1. Discourage promotion of paid/patreon modified OEM stock software (ROM or apps) or any GPL licensed software (kernels). Violation results in a warn, along with potential blacklisting of the contributor, preventing their ROM builds from being posted in the channel.
2. Explicitly condemn overclocking, leading to the blacklisting of the respective ROM/kernel in both the group and channel.
This comprehensive set of rules and guidelines is crucial to fostering a respectful, organized, and productive environment across all Poco/Xiaomi/Redmi groups within the Poco Accord Federation.
