Rubio and Callas clashed over Ukraine, Axios reports.

At a meeting of G7 foreign ministers, Callas criticized Washington for not putting enough pressure on Moscow and recalled that a year ago the US promised to step up measures if the war dragged on.

"A year has passed, and Russia hasn't moved. When will you run out of patience?" she said, according to sources.

Rubio reacted sharply. "We're doing everything we can to end the war. If you think you can do better, go ahead. We'll step aside," he said, raising his voice.

He added that the US is negotiating with both sides, but continues to provide Ukraine with weapons and intelligence.
