For Leanne, a 40-year-old website designer from Australia's Gold Coast, kicking back is a matter of saddling up.
But her hobby isn't riding horses. Instead, it's becoming a replica of one, complete with a saddle, bridle and bit.
Leanne, who goes by the name of Shyanne when in her pony get-up, also likes to trot about pulling her friend Grace behind her in a custom-made trap.

But while it might sound bizarre, Leanne is adamant that not only is it just a bit of fun, it takes her to a 'wonderful place' where she can relax and truly be herself.
When I'm in the pony gear, I feel freer,' she explains. 'It's about who you are, it's about expressing yourself. I become me.'
Leanne, who has always been an animal lover, owns several real horses, as well as a cat named Ember, and says she sees her horses as equals.
But when she becomes a horse herself, it is her friend Grace who takes the reins, leading her about and 'driving' the trap just as she would with a real pony.
'I steer by giving her commands via turns of the reins,' she explains. 'That's a good method and she can respond to pressure on either side of her mouth, same as you would with a horse.'
Grace also has an insight into why Leanne loves becoming a pony so much, arguing that it is partly a way for her to overcome her crippling shyness.
'She is a very introverted person,' she explains. 'But when she's in that zone, she's another person. I think it's a way of expressing another large part 0f her personality. That's very much her identity.'
'It is very understandable that a shy person might love animal play,' comments sexologist and sociologist, Dr Carol Queen.
'Taking on a new identity or even just new garments can take you out of the cage of your own shyness.

'There's something about the way she must feel in her pony finery with her mane and her tail and her ears and her beautiful bridle, the whole nine yards, that liberates her and gives her a more fabulous field in which to gallop.'
And Leanne certainly isn't shy about getting out and about in her pony ensemble, despite the full look including a rather revealing rubber jumpsuit.
From a trip to the shops, a gallop around the yard or even a day out at the races, nowhere is off limits for Leanne's pony persona.
But although she does get the odd strange look, Leanne says the overwhelming reaction to her unusual look is a positive one.

Passion: Leanne is so comfortable in her pony ensemble, she has even worn it to go to the races
'I think when the world looks at me as a pony, they see something that makes them think "Oh my God, that's amazing",' she says.
But regardless of what people think of her look, the real attraction for Leanne is the sense of peace she gets from her pony alter-ego.
For me, it's spiritual,' she says. 'It's a different realm. You're not worried about bills, you're not worried about going to work.
'I become freer, I'm me. I'm very introverted and I do express through being a pony girl. And that's a wonderful place to be for somebody. That's a great place to be.'
Unfortunately, however, transforming into a pony doesn't come cheap with each of Leanne's ensembles costing between £5,000 and £10,000.

Also expensive is the makeover currently underway in her back garden, which will eventually boast a set of human-sized stables and a sand-floored school. 'It's something to spend my money on,' she shrugs.
Expensive though it might be, Leanne hopes that more people will give pony play a try - even if it means wearing an uncomfortable-looking bit.
'Once the bit's in, the tongue is out so you're not speaking,' she explains. 'If you drool while wearing a bit, you've got to be wearing the wrong-size bit.'
Nevertheless, she adds, being in pony mode can take you to some 'wonderful places'. 'I get up, go to work but I just choose to escape sometimes,' she adds.
'I think more people should experience it. And if it's not fun, you're not doing it right!'

Request for . Both girls are his OC's. Story : It's been 4 months since poor Allison disappeared from the face of the earth. The police eventually closed the case, and was concluded as a runaway. Kelly refused to believe in this theory. Her twin sister wouldn't do such a thing! Not without a warning. Through private detective work, she discovers that Allison is beind held captive in the facility called the "JF institute". She eventually gets there with the firm intention to get her sister out. Kelly makes an entrance and threatens to shut the place down. However... Allison had obligations towards the company, and all the paper-works allowed them to keep her secured deep underground. Still... The patient's Sister just didn't want to let her go. She keeps on arrassing the personel. A Nurse comes to assist the unwanted guest. But this was no typical nurse. She was dressed in a strange rubber suit. It seemed to limit her movement. "What is going on here? This is a restricted area!" said the rubber nurse. Kelly wasn't impressed by the grotesc rubber girl and responded without hesitation :"I'll tell you what's going on! I am Allison's sister. Release her, or i'll make sure this place shuts down." The nurse was about to call the gards, but suddenly stopped her course of actions. Someone was giving her instructions through her earphone. "I understand Madame... Yes.... Yes...", "I will take care of it" The nurse smiled to kelly and got back to topic : "Alright Miss Kelly. We don't want any trouble. So we are going to do this your way. All you need to do, is sign those papers, and i promise you that we'll make sure that Pon... ehh.. Miss Alliston leaves our facility." "Why the sudden change of plan?" Asked Kelly. "Let's just say that our C.E.O was ... sensible to your request. She understands that you and your Sister should be together." "I see. Well, just make sure she gets out, and i will keep this place to myself" She signed. Not knowing that she had just sealed her fate. "Oh... don't worry. You won't tell anyone. GUARDS!" "Wait.. What the... s...stay away. Don't come any closer." Unfortunatly, the contract she just signed allow them to do whatever they wanted to her. Nurses force her to undress, and wear a red latex suit. She fights back, but being outnumbered, she eventually finds herself totally secured in a permanent pony bondage suit. Satisfied, the nurses take her to an elevator going deeper underground. When the doors hopen she finds her Sister standing there. Allison cries as she realizes that Kelly (her last hope to be rescued) was now going share her fate. An unknowed woman behind a mirrored window explains the situation trough a speaker: "Welcome Miss Kelly. I am the CEO of this company. You should have figured out by now that we intend to keep you here. That is... Untill we train you and find you a suitable owner. You'll be be now refered as Pony number 18. We understand how upsetting this situation must be for you, but rest assured that our training we'll help you to accept this new life as a rubber pony." Kelly couldn't believe it. She though it was a joke. But seing the locks on her bonds had no keywholes, she understood that this was all real. Angry, and affraid. She struggles. "Yes these suits are going to stay on you for a very long time. I am not even sure you'll ever get out of them. But don't worry, our nano-diappers will make sure you don't have to. Your sister already knows alot about it" Ashamed... Allison cries in submission. "About your Sister, Pony 17. We made you a promise. You'll be happy to know that she has been sold a few days ago, and for a very good price. She will leave our facility in just a few weeks, once we are done with her training." Allison didn't seem to care anymore, she just looked happy to be a nice rubber pony to be used. "As you can see. We always keep our promises. Hopefully, your sister's owner will want you aswell. It would be sad to seperate you from your Sister." Kelly groans in frustrations. "Welcome to the JF institute Pony 18"
