Jenny Kyle upon being drafted has been sent out to a planet that she doesn't even know the name of to fight against the Kult as part of the Interstellar Guard.
When her orbital lander is shot down well outside of where it should have been leaving Jenny as the only survivor of her unit it's going to take her wits, strength, and all of her two weeks of combat training to not fall prey to the dangers and temptations that await her.

Rough Landing is very much in the Mind Control guantlet losing-is-fun genre. You'll will find science fiction world building in a reasonably distant future involving among others cyborgs, alien hybrids of a long extinct race, dangerous AI, and all sorts of fun that can be accomplished with chemicals.
There's also an achievement system and three paths of play whether you want to try for dominance, loyalty or submission.
