I have to turn off anything with Rosie Jones in it. I find her slow impeded speech really irritating in the context of a comedy panel show and I have to skip past the bits where she talks. NOT a dig at her disabilities, it just feels like there's always an extended awkwardness while the rest of the panel wait for her to finish what she's saying.
Rosie Jones blew me away with her acting skills on an episode of Casualty! She's a great comedian and advocate! She's a regular fixture on panel shows and I actually decide to stick around and watch the episode because of her. She's not a token to fill out a so-called box or to be bullied: she's mf Rosie Jones!!
Rosie Jones wasn't my cup of tea until we saw her live last year at the recording of the live at the Apollo Christmas show. You have to be there as they edit out and make her redo lots of sentences to clean it up, making her less edgy. Sadly, this makes her much less funny on TV, but live she is true belly laugh funny.
You could be cool and progressive and like a whole swathe of other disabled comics like liz Carr, lost voice guy etc. Rosie Jones is just unfunny as paint to me, on a par with Joe Wilkinson's "character" (though he's funny when he is just being him eg on taskmaster), and Harry Hill.

Just watched the first episode of the new season and WOW. I've loved this show and Rosie Jones for ages, so I was so excited when I saw her! Her performance was so wonderful, I live with a disability and have doubted my ability to bear children. How amazing to see that representation.
