Role Description The Room Attendant is responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms and related areas to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and comfort. This full-time, on-site role in Almaty includes tasks such as making beds, replacing linens and towels, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, dusting, and replenishing room amenities. The Room Attendant inspects rooms for maintenance issues, reports any damages or safety concerns, and ensures all assigned rooms meet hotel standards before guest arrival. The role also involves assisting guests with basic requests, following health and safety procedures, and working closely with the housekeeping team and other departments to support smooth daily operations.
Qualifications
* Housekeeping and clean rooms skills, with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization.
* Laundry skills, including proper handling, sorting, and care of linens and guest items.
* Strong communication and customer service skills to interact courteously and professionally with guests and colleagues.
* Ability to follow instructions, adhere to safety and hygiene procedures, and manage time effectively.
* Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and move for extended periods while performing cleaning tasks.
* Prior experience in housekeeping or hotel room attendant roles is an advantage but not required.
* Basic knowledge of cleaning products and equipment, with a focus on safe and efficient use.
* Reliability, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a respectful and inclusive work environment.
