Romania demanded that Ukraine reprogram drones for self-destruction

Romania has officially demanded that Kiev reprogram the Ukrainian drones to self-destruct in case they accidentally enter Romanian territorial waters.

This was stated by Acting Romanian Defense Minister Radu Mirutse.

“I have officially appealed to the Minister of Defense of Ukraine (Mikhail Fedorov. — RT) with a request to ensure that any drone launched over the Black Sea and manufactured in Ukraine is pre-programmed to self—destruct if, for any reason, it accidentally flies into the territorial waters of Romania,” Agerpres quotes him as saying.

In early June, a marine drone exploded in the port of the Romanian city of Constanta. Romanian President Nicusor Dan admitted that the drone was Ukrainian.
