Fetish by Roja Dove is a Chypre Floral fragrance for women. Fetish was launched in 2012. The nose behind this fragrance is Roja Dove .
Top notes are bergamot and petitgrain; middle notes are rose, ylang-ylang, jasmine and tuberose; base notes are galbanum, cinnamon, cloves, cedar, oakmoss, patchouli, vetiver, castoreum and musk.

Fetish Pour Homme Roja Dove for men
Fetish Pour Homme is ok, maybe slightly more fruity and feminine leaning then Bel Ami. To be short, just buy contemporary Hermes Bel Ami version instead of Fetish. Better, cheaper, much more easily available.

What a flawless blend of naturalistic and IBQ-type leather notes! I don't think you could get away calling it Fetish without at least a hint of isobutyl quinoline - it gives it a "wait, what?" moment when you inhale that prevents the whole thing from being too easy to swallow. I love Bel Ami to pieces too, and I see where people are getting the connections. Night to Bel Ami's day? I'm a fairly femme woman and I'd have no issue wearing this on a night out, although there aren't really many fragrances I've met that made me think, "good, but for a man and not for me". OTOH, maybe they kept the name on the box as Fetish pour Homme to give an opportunity to feel transgressive wearing it when not un homme? That would be consistent, at least.

I got a 7.5ml travel size from the Roja website, as that's the right amount of this stuff to buy for most people. I wish more of the super-expensive stuff came in this size directly from the company.
The name of the fragrance says a lot. Perfection.
As with most Roja fragrances, it smells very high quality and niche. But this leans towards the more "acquired taste" side of niche, and not like an Elysium, Oligarch, or Burlington-style Roja fragrance. The castoreum note is very much present, and it has an oud-like vibe at times on me. So for my taste, this is very unappealing. However, it's very rich and luxurious, and if you like more animalic notes, certainly worth trying!
Oh wow this is very complex and alluring the start with the zesty but never never cheap or tart citrus is a master of blending and I assume quality ingredients ( one would hope so at the eye watering price !) it’s slow March into leathery animallic goodness is a joy ! Most definitely FBW !!
Roja Fetish (2012) - vintage leather - Creative director #rojadove churns-out a leather-forward accord mixed with animalic notes of Civet, spices of Cardamom, Cinnamon, smokey and resinous Labdanum & Elemi under a perceptible cloud of Salty-skin-like Ambergris. Base grounds with Patchouli and Vetiver. As someone who collects and understands a lot of vintagebfragrances, Roja is a great evaluator and his fragrances are rounded and refined. Reminds you of an old well worn jacket.

If you take Bel Ami, remove the carnation and herbs, add a ton of castoreum and then crank the whole deal to 11, you have this.
It is a very brash and powerful leather fragrance.
Almost over-the-top masculine.
Lasts forever and ever.
I like it a lot. But I can't justify the retail price for a full bottle.
While I love leathers in general, I like animalic notes in a perfume very much and I absolutely adore both Hermes Bel Ami and Puredistance M, I came to the conclusion, that I don’t like Roja Dove’s Fetish at all.

This perfume instantly reminds me of those very loud people, who are attention grabbers (or want to grab attention), but they have nothing to say, they’re dull. Generally speaking this is a leather-castoreum bomb on a spice kick. As simple as that. It shouts and I don’t like this perfume because of that. When it comes to composition, it opens up with a tiny blast of citruses, than the leather-castoreum bomb kicks in and it shouts (or yells) for more than 10 hours (10-16 hours on my skin) and after that a shade of spices is all what is left for the next 2 or 3 hours. All in all this is 12+hours (up to 24 hours) perfume. Sometimes it does not come off the skin after the shower and I have to scrub it off.

Resemblance? Sure. Take the Bel Ami, take out most of the ingredients from the composition, ad tons of leather (its perfectly blended chemical substitutions), castoreum, a pinch of citruses and minimal amount of woods and blend them together. There you go, you have Fetish Pour Homme Parfum.

Puredistance M on the other hand is much more spicy, leather seems to be much more exquisite and refined and is nowhere as loud as Fetish Parfum is.

Even if I wanted to have it I wouldn’t have an occasion to use it.

Excuse me, this is a no-go for me.
The second word after `Diaghilev` that pops into my mind thinking of Roja Dove is definitely, Fetish. I consider it one of is best creation out there, a fierce perspective on leather, just pure Testosterone in a bottle.
It starts with a fresh lime/bergamot and turns few seconds later into a very powerful, slightly bitter, musky animalic leather. The castoreum here is incredible, although the `dirtiness` degree depends on skin chemistry. In contrast with its often compared sibling, Puredistance M, Fetish is loud, aggressive and very masculine, fills the space around pushing the perimeter with the vigorous, virile Alpha wild animal characteristic.
After a while the perfume turns into a chypre leather with just the right amount of smoke and hints of cardamon. The leather softens in the dry-down due the patchouli and labdanum turning after ca. 6-7 hours into a warm, soft ambered leather skin scent.
Fetish has an incredible longevity and projection. And is definitely not for the faint hearted.

Love this. First whiff - smoky top and a warm provocative spicy body. As I continued to dwell upon this scent, there are the citrus notes but not the bright kind, more like a deflated soft drink reminiscent of Roja's Engima. It's mature and has a dirty quality (in the best sense of the word). Smoky spicy leather - Fetish... Okay, I see what Roja means.

Like the name, the scent doesn't cry out PG. I don't feel old enough to wear this one yet.
The Cologne Podcast made a review of this one, and it was hilarious. Leather, check. Spices, check. Smoky, check. Be careful on the sprays with this one. It could potentially fill a room. Surprisingly enough, can be a compliment getter.
Wearing fetish for third time today.
After testing extensively, I have came to this conclusion that leather and red chilli spices dont go well together with each other.
The animalic musk and incense keep fighting with spicy leather base for attention resulting in a clusterfuck of a couple of strong notes.
If the spice was dialled down and effervescence increased, this can become more wearable.
Projection and longevity is really good. Everybody in 2m radius will be able to smell you.
Although they may not like it what they are smelling.
For the visualization part, this is like when you enter spices market in a middle eastern town or an indian town on a horse.
Masculinity dialled to 100.
Are M & Fetish similar?
Two leather-based perfumes #M and #fetish are mentioned as two similar perfumes.

1️⃣ Similarities:
1. Having the same perfumer that can inadvertently lead to the creation of two similar perfumes with Attar's unique signature. Especially since the first perfume, namely M, was not related to his company and was very successful, and for the #Fetish perfume, which he made for his own company two years later, the use of the success elements of M perfume will not be surprising.
2. Both are leather-based and the presence of Oakmoss , Amber, Patchouli and Vetiver and wood play an important role in creating similarities between the two perfumes.

2️⃣ The differences :
1. Fetish perfume is more leathery and heavier than M perfume. Leather in fetish is a bullying note with low flexibility next to other notes. Seventy-five to twenty-five are seen as a result of proximity.
But the leather in M is lighter and more flexible and allows the effects of the notes to be seen on itself. In a way, this flexibility creates different and new faces of leather, which adds to M beauty. You can see 50_50 result of proximity.
2. Fetish perfume is heavier and more formal and M perfume is more intimate and sensual.
3. The presence of wooden, smoky, earthy and animal space next to leather can be seen in fetish.
On the other hand, the space of spice, amber and agarwood is more visible in M. There is less earth space in M than fetish .
4. In general, in my opinion, despite the similarity of the notes in the two perfumes, I see these two very differently, and between this two, the M perfume is much more attractive to me.
5. Finally, I would like to congratulate the great master of the perfumer world, Raja Dove, for creating these two precious gems, and these two works are enough for his name to shine in the world of perfume.

تشابهات :
۱. داشتن عطار یکسان که ناخواسته میتواند منجر به ایجاد دو عطر مشابه با امضای منحصر به فرد عطار گردد. بالاخص که عطر اول یعنی ام , مربوط به کمپانی خود نبوده و بسیار موفق گردید و برای عطر #فتیش که دو سال بعد برای کمپانی خودش میساخت ، استفاده از عناصر توفیق عطر ام جای تعجب نخواهد داشت.
۲. هردو چرم محور هستند و حضور اوکموس ، امبر ، پچولی و وتیور و چوب در ایجاد تشابهات این دو عطر نقش به سزایی دارد.

تفاوت ها :
۱. عطر فتیش نسبت به عطر ام ، عطری چرمی تر و سنگین تر محسوب میشود. چرم در فتیش ، نوتی زورگو و با انعطاف پایین در همجواری با سایر نوتهاست . به گونه ای که دراثر همجواری نسبت هفتاد و پنج به بیست و پنج دیده میشود.
اما چرم در ام چرمی سبکتر و منعطفتر بوده و اجازه دیده شدن اثر نوتها بر روی خودش را میدهد. به گونه ای این انعطاف باعث ایجاد صورت های متفاوت و جدید از چرم میشود که این امر بر زیبایی هرچه بیشتر ام می افزاید
و میتوان نسبت همجواری چرم با سایر نوت ها را پنجاه پنجاه دید.
۲. فتیش عطری سنگین تر و رسمی تر و ام عطری صمیمی تر و سنشوال میباشد.
۳. حضور فضای چوبی و اسموکی و خاکی و انیمالیک در کنار چرم ، در فتیش به چشم می آید.
از سوی دیگر فضای اسپایسی و امبری و عودی در ام بیشتر دیده میشود. فضای خاکی در ام کمتر میباشد.
۴. درمجموع از دید من علی رغم شباهت نوتها در دو عطر ، من این دو را بسیار متفاوت میبینم و بین این دو ام برایم عطری بسیار جذابتر میباشد.
۵. در انتها جا دارد به استاد بزرگ دنیای عطرسازی ، رژا داو ، برای خلق این دو گوهر ارزشمند تبریک جانانه بگویم که همین دواثر برای درخشش نامش در دنیای عطر کفایت است 👏👏

A very heavy, very formal, very attractive leather fragrance
.

The leather of this perfume is very bitter and has a strong smoky smell. This strong smoky note comes from castoreum.
For me, respectivly :
🔵heavy bitter and smoky leather (bitterness including citrus peel, violet, leather, labdanum, spices)
🔵Bitter and woody leather ( including : Oak moss , Elemi and spices)
🔵Bitter, amber and animal leather (ambergris, labdanum, castorium)
Bitter and earthy leather (fig, vetiver, patchouli)
🔵. Finally, I feel in dry down , green leather by geranium, while I dont see geranium in the pyramid.

A noteworthy point in this perfume is the strong leather of this perfume, which, in contrast to other notes, shows only a little flexibility, and the bitter and leathery atmosphere still strongly adheres to other notes.
Other notes, have the effect of increasing or decreasing a particular scent and will not change the identity of that scent. In my opinion, this perfume is very formal, masculine and suitable for successful men and managers in business.!

یه عطر چرمی خیلی سنگین ، خیلی رسمی ، خیلی باجذبه به شدت چرم این عطر تلخ هست و به شدت بوی اسموکی داره . این بوی دودی و اسموکی از کاستریوم نشات میگیره
برای من اینطوره به ترتیب :
🔵چرم سنگین و تلخ و اسموکی ( تلخی شامل پوست مرکبات ، بنفشه ، چرم ، لابدانوم ، ادویه ها)
🔵چرم تلخ و چوبی ( اوکموس و المی و ادویه ها)

🔵چرم تلخ و امبری و انیمالیک (امبرگریس ، لابدانوم ، کاستوریوم)
🔵چرم تلخ و خاکی ( انجیر ، وتیور ، پچولی)
🔵 ودرنهایت درای داون خیلی سبز و پررنگی از چرم و ژرانیوم رو به شدت احساس میکنم درحالیکه در هرم ژرانیوم را نمیبینم.

⚜نکته قابل تامل در این عطر ، چرم پُرزور این عطر هست که تقریبا در تقابل با سایر نوتها ، فقط اندکی انعطاف ازخود نشان داده و کماکان فضای تلخ و چرمی به شدت به سایر نوت ها میچربد.
سایر نوتها گویی همچون هاشورهای فید شده طراحی بر کم و زیاد شدن یک رنگ خاص موثر بوده و تغییری بر هویت آن رنگ نخواهند داشت .
⚜ این عطر به نظر من به شدت رسمی و مردانه و مناسب مردان و مدیران موفق در بیزینس میباشد .

مناسب فصول سرد هست و بین بد ، متوسط ، خوب ، خیلی خوب و عالی و برتر از من امتیاز خیلی خوب و دریافت میکنه .

Hi So let's see what we have in this interpretation. Bergamot at the top. Galbanum Patchouli dominate at the heart, but unfortunately counterbalanced with ugliness with powdery Talc effect, enhanced with burned notes, the rose appeared only after 4 hours, it's too bad although musk castoreum was very well harmonized with Benjoin, has given a sublime Sillage, and what a waste for these noble raw materials.
The conclusion, exceptional perfume at the end only, you must Wait more than 4 hours, During this period of time the smell of you body is similar, not to the incense which is burning to be presented to God, like in the churchs, Temples, or Mosques, but here it's like Something burning with a unpleasant scent
Point of View:
You walk into your cheap hotel room and the door slams shut behind you. Several sweaty thugs pin you by your arms and drag you into the bedroom. Seated in a chair there is a man. A sleezeball. His baggy suit and wet armpits do nothing to override the overpowering stench that fills your nostrils, namely the stale, dry, itchy scent of generation’s worth of cheap cigarettes. The stale smoke has permeated the polyester and vinyl surfaces, and when you leave the room after weeks of imprisonment (if you do at all), forbidden from showering, your entire person and clothing also smells irrevocably of stale cigarettes. You do not smell smoky per say, nor ashy. Yet this is the smell of Fetish pour Homme.

This smells nothing like any human I know would ever want to smell like. But you can pay hundreds of dollars per tiny bottle to have the privilege of doing so. Sounds like a deal, right?

Addendum:
This is one of those situations where I read reviews by other users and think… surely we can’t be smelling the same fragrance? Are people being blinded by the price and reputation of Roja into thinking this is more wonderful than it really is? Or perhaps they truly love what I find revolting? Has my sample gone bad? Does this scent simply not work on my skin chemistry (though that wouldn’t seem to account for the insanely different interpretations I have of this scent with the reviews below). In any event, certainly I'm willing to admit I might be wrong. But just be very careful of buying this blind. Or even spending the ridiculous sum a sample fetches. Find your fetish elsewhere.
This is extremely well blended. You can detect similarities with Enigma by Roja and YSL Tuxedo. Its an alluring scent suitable for dressier formal setting. This leans masculine all the way. Even though I like the smell profile very much but I cannot justify spending the retail price on the small 50ML bottle.
I have not tried Fetish on the skin, only on paper. When money is no object I wish to buy this. Initially heavy woody, tobacco, leather, spices, animal - all of the usual suspects - it then takes on a form which I have never yet encountered in perfume, which thrills and befuddles, frightens slightly: a gimp suit.

Never clicked with me before the second wearing when I got more than 6 compliments on that same day.
Once you start accepting the harsh leather tobacco, spicey animalic that has an austere burning smell you will discover it's uniqueness and hidden manly beauty.
An art deco type of vintage scent which makes Bel Ami a boring redundancy and I personally prefer it over M Puredistance.
And again, compliment galore! A lot of Roja perfumes are.
I have the new reformulation but the vintage paper label bottle is so much more dense and better quality. The vintage version which I had a sample of is very dark, heavy woody, animalic and oh so sexy fragrance that deserves its place in the list of classics. Yes, it is a "version" of Bel Ami and a toned down version of Puredistance M with prominent lime note as the difference compared to the earlier in the opening.
So first off let me say i love roja dove. I find his fragrences to be a throw back to the times when perfume was full on & no holds barred. I even have his book the essence of perfume and read it from cover to cover. I own many other rojas including enigma, vetiver, Diaghilev, danger, oligarch & of course todays topic fetish pour homme parfum. As you can see i am a fan. Now with that context out of the way, let me tell you as soon as i sprayed Fetish it reminded me of something. It took me a few days of wearings to put my finger on it. When it hit me, it was like a gear slipping into place. Everyone knows puredistance m & Belami and in case you didnt know roja dove was the perfumier for purediatance m before he founded roja parfums & of course bel ami is a classic and one of the grestest leather cyphres ever created in my opinion along with Derby from guerlain.
