Rohani Arooj ("the app", "we") is an Islamic companion app developed by XAalytics AI, based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This privacy policy describes what information the app uses, how it uses that information, and the rights you have.

1. Information we collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information to our servers. We do not operate servers for user data. The following information is used only on your device:

• **Location data** — requested when you first open the "Awqat" (prayer times) tab. Used only to calculate accurate prayer times based on your geographical coordinates. Location is cached on your device for offline use and is never uploaded, shared, or sold.

• **Prayer tracking records** — your Namaz (prayer) completion records are stored locally on your device using Android's encrypted AsyncStorage. These never leave your device.

• **Tasbih counts & Zikar history** — stored locally on your device.

• **Theme and font-size preferences** — stored locally.

2. Permissions we request

• **Location (ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION, ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION)** — for prayer times calculation

• **Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS)** — for prayer reminder notifications (you may deny this)

3. Information we do NOT collect

• We do not have user accounts or sign-ups

• We do not integrate analytics (no Google Analytics, no Firebase Analytics)

• We do not show advertisements

• We do not use third-party tracking SDKs

• We do not access your contacts, photos, microphone, or camera

4. Third-party services

The app does not communicate with any third-party services at runtime. Quran text and Hadith collections are bundled inside the app at install time.

5. Children's privacy

The app is suitable for all ages. Since we collect no personal information, we comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar child-protection regulations worldwide.

6. Data retention & deletion

Because all data stays on your device, uninstalling the app removes all your data.

7. Changes to this policy

If we ever change our data practices, we will update this policy and the "Last updated" date at the top. Substantial changes will be announced via a notice inside the app.
