A Sister Wives BOMBSHELL was dropped for those who were reading the comments of Meri Brown’s latest Instagram post. As we previously reported, Meri Brown revealed she still spends time with Robyn pretty often. Four weeks ago and 22 weeks ago, Meri shared a photo of herself with one of Robyn’s children . In the past 24 hours, she shared ANOTHER photo of herself with one of Robyn and Kody’s children. The photo featured the Sister Wives star cuddled up with Ariella Mae.
Now, this photo stirred up a lot of confusion for Sister Wives fans. As we also reported, fans were a bit puzzled by this photo. Many couldn’t even put a name with the little face in the photo. Some fans were quick to point out her name was near the bottom of the caption on the photo .
There was even one individual who questioned if Ariella was one of Meri Brown’s grandchildren. While Meri agreed with the fan that grandchildren were beautiful things to have. She clarified that Ariella Mae was NOT one of her grandchildren.
Ariella Mae Brown was brought into the world by Robyn and Kody Brown. But, Kody is spiritually married to Christine, Janelle, and Meri. Likewise, all four of his wives are sister wives. So, that means Ariella technically has four different mothers.
Things actually got a little heated in the comments of Meri’s post when one individual referred to Ariella as Meri’s step-daughter. Meri was QUICK to shut that chatter down. And, she was clearly a little offended by it.
Now, Sister Wives fans have assumed Meri Brown and Kody were no longer together. She posts a lot of cryptic memes on her Instagram Stories that have people drawing these conclusions. Likewise, she just never posts about Kody or documents any time spent with him. Furthermore, Kody and Meri were having all sorts of issues during the last season of the show. It was clear they really weren’t working together as a couple.
Her response to the assumption Ariella was her grandchild is worth taking a closer look at. In response, Meri Brown noted that grandchildren were wonderful. But, Ariella wasn’t her grandchild. Read exactly what Meri said in response down below:
They are, but this isn’t my grandchild. This is one of our kids, Robyn’s youngest.”
In response, Meri referred to Ariella as “our” child. While it is a very simple comment, Meri Brown ended up leaking a lot of information by using the word “our.” Her comment reveals that she very much still considers herself to be a part of this family unit. More importantly, it reveals that she and Kody are likely still together. And, that she still considers herself to be a sister wife of Robyn Brown.
If Meri Brown was not still in this family unit with Kody and Robyn… She likely would have referred to Ariella as “my daughter” instead of “our daughter.”

‘Sister Wives’ Star Robyn Brown’s Transformation Over the Years: From Season 1 to Now

When viewers first met Robyn Brown on the reality show Sister Wives , she was in the beginning stages of her relationship with now-husband Kody Brown .
Fans watched as Kody prepared for his fourth wedding and a new dynamic in his polygamous family after marrying Meri , Janelle and Christine Brown in years prior. Kody spiritually married Robyn during season 1, which they aired on the show in 2010, before the couple legally exchanged their vows in 2014.
Robyn was previously married to David Jessop , with whom she shares three children David, Aurora and Breanna. The exes finalized their divorce in 2007, and Kody legally divorced first wife Meri in 2014 so he could marry Robyn and adopt her three kids while he remained spiritually married to Meri, as well as second and third wives, Janelle and Christine.
“Kody is my soulmate. I love him,” Robyn said in a 2010 episode.
Meanwhile, his other spouses were still getting used to the idea of adding a fourth wife to their plural brood. “I like my time with Kody and having sister wives makes it so that I do have less time with Kody,” Meri admitted to producers at the time.
“I like three wives a lot, I’m kind of more hesitant [about] adding another wife,” Christine added ahead of Robyn and Kody’s nuptials.
Following the duo’s first year of marriage, Robyn and Kody welcomed their first child together , a boy named Solomon Kody, in October 2011. A few years later, Kody and Robyn welcomed their second child, daughter Ariella Mae, in January 2016.
Amidst all the big changes, the Brown family relocated from their former home base in Lehi, Utah, to Las Vegas, Nevada, in 2011.
By 2013, Kody and his wives invested in a cul-de-sac where they built four homes for each wife and their respective children, a concept they are seemingly mirroring after moving to Flagstaff, Arizona, in 2018.
Kody expressed how much wanted his family to live in one house again on season 14 of Sister Wives , as the family previously shared one home in Utah before Robyn joined their family. Now, fans are wondering if that plan will finally come to fruition on their new Coyote Pass land amid his split from third wife Christine , since she seemed to be the only wife who was adamantly against the idea .
In the latest season 16 episodes, Kody and his wives struggled to see eye-to-eye about how to navigate the COVID-19 pandemic , with Meri and Robyn agreeing to follow Kody’s strict rules while Christine and Janelle rebelled against his guidelines. The stress of the coronavirus pandemic only heightened the issues of separation and distance that their family had been facing ever since their move to Flagstaff.
“In the beginning, I thought this would go away eventually but how far are we into it and it still hasn’t stopped?” Robyn questioned during part 1 of the tell-all. “It’s just painful. It’s just painful cause it felt like the family group and the unity, all of that stuff, just got thrown out of the window.”
“It basically took that rug that we were shoving everything under and just everything was shown,” Robyn added. “I’m just like, ‘Can we come back from this?’ I’m trying. I want to.”

Kody and Meri were at a friend’s house when they met Robyn.
“She looked like a soccer mom,” Kody said about Robyn on the show. “She had a van, three kids and was divorced. I thought, ‘I didn’t need a van, a divorced woman, and three kids in my life — that’s just trouble.”

Despite his hesitation, the pair clicked and reportedly saw each other for four months before Kody decided to ask her to join their family.
After getting married, Kody and Robyn went on to expand their own brood with two children in addition to the kids he adopted from her past relationship.
As her lifestyle changed over the years, so did Robyn’s fashion choices. Although she rarely posts on social media, fans have seen her style evolution on the show.
“The other wives can’t compete against Robyn,” a source told Us Weekly in November 2021. “Robyn and Kody are a dream couple.”
Kody treats Robyn “like a queen and takes care of her,” the insider said. “They act like they’re still newlyweds. They’re still very much in love.”
