The Wolf of Wall Street star Margot Robbie has revealed she was happy to do her full frontal scene in the film because she thought it was ‘warranted’.
The actress, 23, admitted she was nervous about stripping off in Martin Scorsese’s Oscar-nominated film but thought it was worth the risk.
She told Look magazine: ‘[Nudity is] different in this day and age, because of the internet. It was like, if I do this there will forever be YouTube clips of this, there will be slow-motion versions.
‘It’s not just the repercussions for myself – my brothers and my grandparents have to deal with that. So it’s not something to be taken lightly.’
Robbie added: ‘There are scripts I pick up and say, “There’s no reason why she’s taking her clothes off, that’s just stupid, it’s just nudity for the sake of nudity.”That I do not agree with, ever.
‘But when the nudity is warranted, I don’t think there’s anything shameful in that. If it’s justified and the character would do it, then it should be there.’
In The Wolf of Wall Street Leonardo DiCaprio plays stockbroker Jordan Belfort while Margot plays his wife Naomi.
The Wolf of Wall Street is currently top of the UK box office.

Robbie Williams said Take That to Kim Kardashian's attempts to #BreakTheInternet on Friday when he posed in his birthday suit to celebrate his 41st.
The father-of-two, who became a dad for the second time in October 2014, stripped naked for an Instagram post to mark his big day, revealing an impressive six pack.
With just two hands to conceal his modesty, the singer was captured in a domestic setting with a smug smile on his face as he shared his rugged physique with the internet.

Taking to social media on his 41st birthday, Robbie said: 'Do you think my b**l-e*d can #BreakTheInternet on my birthday?'
The former Take That bandmember wears just a wristwatch and a chain on his hairy, tattooed chest in the domestic-set picture.
Confident Robbie, who live Tweeted the birth of his second child Theodora Rose Williams, was using his social media to show off his hot dad body.

Kim Kardashian created the Break The Internet hash tag in November 2014 when she shot a full frontal spread and totally naked magazine cover featuring her famous rear for Paper and shared it with her fans via social media.
Other attempts to follow up her headline-grabbing move have included Justin Bieber's Calvin Klein shoot with Lara Stone and Madonna's raunchy topless shoot for Interview.

Robbie, who also has son Charleston Valentine Williams with wife Ayda Field, also goes naked on the cover of his latest musical offering Under the Radar: Volume 1, released in November last year.
The singer used his official website to launch the album, his 11th, which meant that it didn't chart in the Official UK Albums Chart.
He released the single Love Is You at the start of this year, as part of his collection of unreleased songs from his solo career between 1997 and 2013.

IN a surprise move, one of the biggest names in pop music has just got his kit off for a daring new shoot. Why is he baring all, and what will his former band mates make of it?
ROBBIE Williams gave fans a double shock over the weekend, announcing the imminent release of a surprise album — and unveiling a rather cheeky nude album cover.
But some are viewing the pop star’s surprise news as a direct attack at his former Take That band mates, who release their new album on the same day.
Williams was an original member of the boy band back in the early 90s, before leaving to forge his own, hugely successful solo career with hits like Feel, Rock DJ and Let Me Entertain You .
But in 2010, Williams announces he was rejoining his Take That band mates, with the reunited five-piece enjoying a sellout tour and releasing an album, Progress.
Once again a solo artist, it’s hard not to view Williams’ surprise new album — announced just a couple of days before its rush-release — as a statement of sorts to his band mates, who release their much-hyped new record III on the very same day.
And in true Robbie style, the cheeky star got naked for the album cover just to ensure maximum attention. Shots fired, boys.

He also reveals that songwriting collaborator Guy Chambers is unhappy with his decision to rush-release the album without time for proper promotion.
“But I’m an impetuous bugger and I want them out now, now, now, now, now,” he told fans.
