TOMB RAIDER fans will finally be able to play the latest game on PC tomorrow, but how long will it be before they inevitably disrobe the gaming icon?
Rise of The Tomb Raider will finally get it's long awaited release on PC tomorrow.
But amongst the reviews and general buzz surrounding how great the game looks, you can guarantee there will also be a small sub-section of people frantically trying to find a way to remove Lara's clothing.
It's almost an unwritten law that if you give PC gamers the tools to mod games, the very first thing they’ll do is strip the characters of their clothing, no matter how skimpy they might be already.

Back in November, rather than exploring the incredible open-world of Fallout 4, some gamers took the opportunity to spend their first 24 hours with the Bethesda's new toy creating several nude mods.
A few weeks back with the release of Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen, PC users took a little longer but still managed to get two nude mods out just three days after release.
One mod removed underwear and made characters smoother than a Ken doll, while another which gave characters their anatomically correct unmentionables.
Not to come over all Agent Smith, but the prospect of a Rise of the Tomb Raider nude mod is inevitable.
The thing is, nude modes for Lara like the ones seen above aren't exactly new.
Even since the release of the original Tomb Raider game in 1996, when people started circulating rumours that you could punch in a code and miraculously remove Lara's trademark hotpants and rubber vest, gamers have been striving to disrobe the one time playboy model.
Eventually gamers made a break through with the so-called "Nude Raider" patch for PC and almost immediately creators Core Design were on the case with plans to take legal action, stating:
"We are looking in to taking legal action. There are a number of Websites featuring the character, but there is one particular site which is causing most of the concern.
We have a large number of young fans and we don't want them stumbling across the pictures when they do a general search for Tomb Raider."
Many years passed but that certainly wasn't the last footnote in the bid to clean up Lara Croft's act.
When Square-Enix took over as the brands, after the acquisition of Eidos Interactive in 2009, one of the first things they did in the lead up to their rebooted Tomb Raider raider series was to ditch the Models who had represented the game for over a decade.
In 2011, two years before the release of Tomb Raider, global brand manager Karl Stewart bluntly told gaming press when questioned on the use of Lara Croft models: "That will never happen again."
"We want to create a visceral experience. We want people to look at Lara and see the psychological aspect of her character.
Having a real Lara out there doing cartwheels kind of destroys that."
The landscape for Lara Croft and the Tomb Raider series has changed an awful lot in the close to 20 years that we've known her.
But no matter how much now owners of the Brand Square Enix like the series mucky past, it that doesn't change the fact that you could put your house on someone having a Lara Croft Nude Mod for Rise of the Tomb Raider available by 1st February.
Shadow of the Tomb Raider was released in September 2018 and since then there hasn’t been any nude mod for it. Blasphemy, I tell you. Thankfully, at least for some people, that’s about to change as the first proper nude mod has been released for it.
If I recall correctly, the first big nude mod that came out on the PC was for the first Tomb Raider game (everyone wanted to see Lara’s triangular boobs back in the 90s). As such, I am a bit surprised that it took modders almost seven months in order to release a proper nude mod for Shadow of the Tomb Raider.
Titled Shadow of the Tomb Raider Nude mod (Booty Edition) and created by modder ‘JOSTAR MOD’, this mod introduces 25+ sexy outfits alongside multiple naked versions of Lara.
The mod was tested with version 1.0.237.6 and works with all of the in-game texture quality settings. In other words, you can safely select Low, Normal, High or Ultra.
As always, we won’t allow any direct links to the mod, however you can find and download it by searching for its title at the game’s NexusMods page . Make sure though to log in and enable the Adult content, otherwise you won’t be able to find it. Moreover, you’ll need Kaldaien’s Special K mod in order to install it.
Do note that in its uncompressed version, this mod is 1.65GB in size so make sure you have enough hard-disk space. Once you find and download it, you can install it by extracting (SK_FFXV.7z) inside the Shadow of the Tomb folder, extracting the mod at “\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Shadow of the Tomb Raider\SK_Res\inject\textures”, turning off DX12 and the run the game, go to Campfire and choose the OUTSIDER OUTFIT.
