Even since Rihanna announced the launch of Savage X Fenty in 2018 , she's been the undisputed queen of lingerie — but she had been killing the lingerie game well before that.
Since stepping into the limelight, Rihanna has worn pretty much everything — from jean shorts to couture. And, yes, she's worn her lingerie as an outfit before... many times. She has fun with style and inspires us to do the same, so nobody had any doubts that her lingerie line was going to blow the competition out of the water. Ahead, we’ve rounded up some of Rihanna’s best lingerie looks to date — from Savage X Fenty events to the streets of NYC — and, spoiler alert , they are all so good.
Ever since she announced her pregnancy , we all knew Rihanna's take on maternity style would be unmatched but she took things to a whole new level while attending the Dior FW22 show during Paris Fashion Week. The star arrived fashionably late wearing a sheer lace dress over a lace matching lingerie set. She accessorized with patent leather boots, a leather trench coat, silver chains galore, and a vampy limp, of course.
For the premiere of the Savage X Fenty Show Vol. 3 in New York City, Rih made black lace the focus of her outfit — and it worked perfectly. (Those long stockings paired with satin pumps will neve leave our minds.)
During the actual show, which was filmed in Los Angeles, she also played with black lace as a full-on 'fit.
During one of the press days for the Savage X Fenty Show Vol. 2 in Los Angeles, Rih opted for a powerful combo: leather and fishnet.
For a Fenty Beauty event in Seoul, Rih traded the classic top for a white lace piece that she paired with a power suit. Business casual at its finest.
Backstage at the Savage X Fenty Fall/Winter 2018 fashion show during NYFW, what else would Rih wear if not pieces from her own collection? The monochromatic moment down to her lip color will always be A+.
During the launch of Savage X Fenty, Rihanna addressed the crown in, you guessed it, black lingerie that she also donned on the streets of New York City because she is commitment personified.

To accept her Fashion Icon Award at the 2014 CFDAs, Rihanna dressed the part and rocked this see-through Swaroski dress by Adam Selman that left little to the imagination. While not quite a lingerie as clothes moment, Rih's lingerie was visible when she wore this look and it's actually one of her biggest regrets in life . “I just liked it better without the lines underneath," she explained to Vogue in 2016. "Could you imagine the CFDA dress with a bra? I would slice my throat. I already wanted to, for wearing a thong that wasn’t bedazzled. That’s the only regret I have in my life.”

Rihanna did what anyone else would if they were her and had a lingerie business: Model her line's new season of bras and panties like a total pro, then post it on Instagram for everyone to thirst over. Yesterday, RiRi shared her second shot: One of her in a sheer orange set wearing heels and chain necklaces with it. It comes after she shared a photo of herself in a purple boxers , holding a blurred copy of Playboy magazine over her chest. Over 5.2 million people liked the yellow set pic, which was captioned, “been 3 mins of thinking of a caption... I ain’t got shit to say 🥴🧡”

Rihanna's boyfriend A$AP Rocky was not among the millions who liked the post, but that's not surprising, given they've kept their entire relationship off social media. Rocky did sing his girlfriend's praises publicly for the first time in his new GQ interview that came out last month. (Rihanna and Rocky were first reported to be dating in December, although had privately been for months prior. They were longtime friends before they got together romantically.)
He called here “the love of my life” and “ my lady,” more or less saying that he sees her as the one for him. He said that dating RiRi is “so much better [than playing the field]. So much better when you got the One. She amounts to probably, like, a million of the other ones. I think when you know, you know. She's the One.”
He added that RiRi “absolutely” inspired his new music. “I think it’s important to have somebody that you can bounce those creative juices and ideas off of,” he added. “It’s just a different point of view.”

The 'ANTI' singer got 'all dolled up' in a red outfit while promoting her brand new 'Dolled Up Xtra VIP Box' for her Savage x Fenty brand.
Rihanna looked gorgeous in the latest photos for Savage X Fenty, shared on Sunday, July 31. The singer posed in the shadows in the first photos of her that the lingerie line has shared since she welcomed her first child with her boyfriend A$AP Rocky back in May. Rihanna, 34, looked gorgeous in the sexy new pictures, sporting lingerie and a seductive look.
The “Work” popstar got comfy, as she rocked a red top with a simple floral design in the new photos. Besides promoting the brand new box from Savage x Fenty, it also had a positive message about self-love. “All dolled up… For no one but ya damn self,” the caption said. “Grab the new Dolled Up Xtra VIP Box.” For fans looking to emulate Rihanna’s look, the VIP box is available on the Savage X Fenty shop , running $100.85 at the regular price or $59.95 for the VIP box.
While the new photo is the first shot of Rihanna for her lingerie line since welcoming her child, it’s not the first campaign that the “Umbrella” singer has participated in since becoming a mom. She did release a video promoting her Fenty brand summer lip gloss back at the start of July.
Aside from the new campaigns, it seems like motherhood has inspired Rihanna to do new things with her companies. A source revealed to HollywoodLife exclusively that she was working on a maternity line for Savage x Fenty. “She has featured pregnant models in her Fenty ads so many times and she wants to redefine how pregnant women are viewed by creating a brand that will allow them to still feel sexy and beautiful during pregnancy,” the insider said.
Besides the new lines, Rihanna has put her main focus on her family and newborn. Another source revealed that she was putting her much-anticipated ninth album on the back burner while focusing on family life. “Her focus is on soaking up the blessing of being a new mom and bonding as a little family with Rocky,” one source said. Another insider explained, “Rihanna has her hands in so many other things right now her album has taken a back seat.”
