Veteran Actor Ricky Davao Returns to Television with New Primetime Drama

Manila, Philippines – May 2, 2025

Award-winning actor and director Ricky Davao is set to make a highly anticipated return to primetime television with an upcoming drama series on GMA Network. The veteran actor, known for his powerful performances in classics like Minsan May Isang Puso and Tanging Yaman, will headline 'Ang Huling Pangako', a gripping family saga about love, betrayal, and redemption.

Davao, who has been focusing on theater and film projects in recent years, expressed excitement about his return to TV. 'It’s always fulfilling to tell stories that resonate with Filipino audiences. This project has a compelling script, and I’m thrilled to be working with such a talented cast and crew,' he said in a press conference earlier today.

The series will also star rising actors Bianca Umali and Seth Fedelin, with Davao playing the role of a patriarch caught in a web of family secrets. Director Laurice Guillen, who previously worked with Davao in critically acclaimed films, helms the project.
