Rick and Morty fans love to go all out with their cosplays, and these are just some of the best ones out there.
Rick and Morty is without a doubt one of the weirdest shows to ever have popped up on television. Thanks to the eccentric minds of the show’s creators, Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon, Cartoon Network viewers can escape from into the worlds of Ricky and Morty one dimension at a time. And the truly passionate fans are taking their favorite animated characters and recreating them in real life. That’s right—we’re talking cosplays.
Rick and Morty travel through the universe discovering multiple dimensions. Each one presents an alternate reality, meaning that each character in the show is presented in various unconventional ways. This gives cosplayers the chance to pick whichever version they admire the most so that no two Rick and Morty cosplays are the same. Here are some of the wildest Rick and Morty cosplays on the internet.
Arthricia is the cat-human compound found in "Look Who's Purging Now". The entire episode pokes fun at The Purge films and features a planet where its inhabitants are able to commit crimes without punishment.
From the shoes to the ears, this girl’s Arthricia cosplay is a creative take on the Amish girl character. Although the identity of this cosplayer is unclear, it’s plainly obvious which Rick and Morty character she’s impersonating!
Rick is one of the two titular characters on the show. Because the premise of his story derived from a Back to the future parade, Rick is an exaggerated version of Doc Brown. Except in this version, Rick is accepted as a mad scientist alcoholic who’s archaic behavior gets him and Morty trouble more so the not.
Cosplayer Winston brings out Rick’s crazed semblance with startling accuracy. The blue wig and shirt match perfectly with the animated character, and the cartoonish edges are a nice touch. Of course, it wouldn’t be Rick Sanchez without a flask in his hand. Winston has been cosplaying since 2017 with some of his other work including Marty McFly and a hybrid of Doc Brown and Rick.
Morty Smith is the 14-year old grandson of Rick and the parody version of Marty McFly. In one of the duo’s erratic adventures, In season three, Armothy is introduced from the Post-Apocalyptic Dimension. Rick forces Armothy’s body into Morty’s arm, making the limb have a mind of its own.
Gina Galinis brought out her own Armothy to Dragoncon in 2017. Alongside Pickle Rick, these two cosplays were the talk of the convention, and eventually the internet. Gina hasn’t shown off any more of her cosplay talent since then, but it’s clear that this one will go down in history as one of her greatest cosplays.
Summer is Morty’s 17-year-old sister who is the embodiment of a conventional teenager. However, she will occasionally make the trek to these other dimensions with Rick and Morty. One instance of this was when the trio went to the Post Apocalyptic dimension. Here, Summer meets Hemorrhage, who is the leader of the gang. Summer ends up marrying him but leaves him after he decides to become a couch potato.
This cosplayer looks like she could be Summer from a 3D reality! Her armor work for summer’s apocalyptic garb looks excellent and she really sells it with the special effects makeup. Ellen is a 22-year-old cosplayer who’s other cosplays consist of Aloy from Horizon Zero Dawn and Astrid from How To Train Your Dragon.
In the third season, viewers are introduced to Pickle Rick; an alternate version of Rick Sanchez that will not soon be forgotten. In this episode, Rick turns himself into a pickle in order to avoid family therapy. He finds his way down to the sewers and starts building upon his bodice, using animal bones to construct a makeshift armor.
Robert put together this Pickle Rick cosplays and he didn’t skate over the details. This larger-than-life cosplay even includes the Pickle Laser. Robert made this cosplay and its accessories himself, making the entire costume seem more badass than it already is.
Unity is a hivemind hat came up in the episode “Auto Erotic Assimilation" She harnesses the power of mind control as audiences find out as she tries to take over the planet. She’s also Rick’s former lover and the two get back together briefly. Unity can take the form of anyone she chooses, though this blue alien facade is her primary avatar.
Tiffamu Cosplay looks stunning as this enticing character. Her makeup looks flawless and her business suit ensemble is definitely screen accurate.
Look at these, they’re Mr. Meeseeks’! Mr. Meeseeks live across various universes in the Rick and Morty world. Wherever they appear, it is their duty to fulfill the single purpose they are designated to carry out—whatever that may be. Once this duty is full-filled, Mr. Meeseeks will simply vanish.
It’s safe to say that these two cosplayers carried out their plan to recreate astonishing cosplays of Mr. Meeseeks! These two showed up at San Diego Comic-Con in 2017, much to everyone’s amusement.
In yet another obscure universe, audiences are introduced to Miami Morty. Miami Morty is a beach-goer and night dancer who’s 80s attire is considerably risque. He is featured in the game Pocket Mortys .
This cosplayer makes for a more attractive version of Miami Morty. Effie Prince is a Russian cosplayer and burlesque dancer so this seems like a fitting character to cosplay. Do you think she can do The Lollipop?
Supernova is a superhero who teams up with Rick and Morty on multiple occasions. She’s a part of The Vindicators, though most of her team have died up to this point. She has glowing eyes, flowing purple hair, and has energy blasts and the power to levitate. She is thought to be a parody of the Marvel Comics character, Eternity.
Rosie Quin Cosplay’s Supernova costume is the real deal. She has the full body galaxy suit and even assembled the headpiece. Rosie can also be seen cosplaying as Harley Quinn and Elastigirl.
Just when you think that Rick and Morty couldn’t pull off any more insane storylines, audiences are given instances like this. Snowball (sometimes known as Snuffles), is Morty’s dog. Because Snowball was having problems getting potty trained, Rick fashioned him a helmet to raise his IQ. But the contraption worked better than expected and Snowball builds a robot and eventually tries to control humans.
Alison is the cosplay mastermind behind this Snowball cosplay. She made every inch of the cosplay by hand, including articulating fingers and robotic legs.

A cosplayer has managed to recreate the super-intelligent, cybersuit-wearing dog, Snowball, first featured in season 1 of Rick & Morty.
One talented Rick & Morty fan has seemingly achieved the impossible by cosplaying the super-intelligent, cyber-suit-wearing Smith family dog Snowball. Launching on Adult Swim in 2013, the series remains one of the most popular animated adult sitcoms out there. Co-created by Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon, the show has enjoyed some serious evolution since its conception as a parody of the 1985 sci-fi classic, Back to the Future .
Focusing on the misadventures of alcoholic scientist Rick Sanchez and his somewhat reluctant sidekick grandson Morty Smith, the series follows the pair’s (usually) accidental trail of destruction across the galaxy. Rising to acclaim for its originality and dry humour, one of the most beloved aspects of the show is its near episodic creation of quirky, often alien characters, many of which become fast fan-favorites like Birdperson, Mr. Meeseeks, and Mr. Poopybutthole. Introduced in the season 1 episode “ Lawnmower Dog ”, Snowball featured as one of the show’s first quasi-villains. Originally known as Snuffles, the Smith family pet quickly evolves after Jerry pesters Rick for a device to make the dog smarter. Predictably spiraling out of control, Snuffles becomes a creature of super-intelligence, abandoning his self-declared slave name in favor of the moniker Snowball and developing his own robotic suit in order to help free his kind from the servitude of humanity.
Now, the official Ricky and Morty Twitter page has shared a cosplayer’s incredible full recreation of Snowball. The feat, achieved by AllisonChaseMU , featured the dog seated inside a fully mobile copy of his cybersuit. A highly ambitious character to cosplay, even from an alien-ridden show like Rick and Morty , the sheer ingenuity of the costume has quickly become viral on social media. Check out the cosplay below:
Though Snowball is briefly glimpsed throughout the series in background photos, the character has not made a full return since his departure to another planet at the end of season 1, episode 2. With characters frequently (and sometimes unexpectedly) returning to the fold, Snowball could still make a reappearance in the series, particularly with a seventh and eighth season in development. Still, while fans certainly seem to enjoy the return of some of the quirkier original characters, the show will undoubtedly continue to introduce even more when Rick & Morty season 6 arrives later this year .
Chock-a-block full of mutant and alien lifeforms, Rick & Morty certainly isn’t an easy fandom to cosplay. After nearly a year since the premiere of season 5, fervor for the sitcom shows no signs of abating as fans eagerly await updates on the show’s return, touted for an unspecified date in 2022. With talented people like Allison continuing to go all-out in expressing their affection for characters that were last seen in 2013, it can be assumed that the Rick & Morty fanbase can endure the wait for season 6.
Sarah is a News Writer for Screen Rant, joining the team in 2021. Born and raised in a small village in Yorkshire, England, Sarah's love of film (and Batman) began with her first-ever viewing of The Dark Knight, launching a passion for storytelling which, in turn, transformed into an editorial career in 2020. With past experience producing short documentaries and working on true crime television content, she considers shows such as Hannibal, Dark, Big Little Lies and The Boys to be among her all-time favourites. Though she also holds a particular affection for horror and all things A24, some of her other most beloved film titles include Arrival, Alien and Drive. Besides the countless hours she has invested in binging Netflix and Amazon originals, she also claims an extensive DVD collection of her most re-watched films and shows, though yes, she'll admit: she no longer owns a DVD player.
