RONDA Rousey’s fame knows no bounds. Even porn stars are cashing in on her sensational rise to stardom in the UFC.
Porn company Burning Angel, which specialises in “emo” and “tattoo” porn, is producing a parody called Ronda ArouseMe: Grounded and Pounded starring Kleio Valentien as Rousey.
Porn star Sammie Six plays the character Miesha Taint, based on Rousey’s Octagon rival Miesha Tate, whom she is expected to fight for a third time later this year. Valentien wasn’t giving too much away about the script, but did say “we do fight and then I win obviously and have sex with her”.
Lucky for Valentien, Rousey is being a good sport about the whole thing. The undefeated UFC women’s bantamweight champion laughed off the project when asked about it during a recent Reddit AMA .
“It’s funny I used to hear that in high school sometimes! At least some girl somewhere is paying her bills with it now,” Rousey said.
Valentien, who describes herself as a UFC and boxing fan, said she jumped at the opportunity to play Rousey. “Getting to play a role of a woman who is badass and kicks ass I was like ‘yes, of course, I would love to’,” she said during an interview with Submission Radio .
“I personally have not gotten any feedback from her. I’m glad that she’s not angry about it and that she’s a good sport about it and shows knows that it’s all in good fun. We have had some people who are angry about it who think she’s worked really hard to be more than just a good woman fighter but a great fighter in general, that we were sexualising her too much. There are always gonna be certain people who are angry about parodies.”
Valentien has copped some criticism from people who don’t believe she looks enough like the baddest woman in sports. She issued this apology.
“In all the Burning Angel parodies, it’s not so much where you have to be exactly the same character. A lot of it is poking fun at things and making it humorous and sexy at the same time,” she told Submission Radio. “So a lot of people have said ‘Well, she doesn’t look exactly like Ronda!’ And I’m like well, I’m sorry I don’t look exactly like her. I don’t look as hot as her. She’s f***ing fit as hell and amazing and I’m sorry I can’t be exactly like that.”
She made a plea to Rousey to meet her one day.
“If I could ask her out on a date I would totally do that. Ronda if you ever listen to this, please go out on a date with me,” Valentien said.
