Modern technologies have long turned the market for mountaineering and tourism equipment into a high-tech independent industry.

Competition in the market for technologies and solutions for mountaineering, iceclimbing and rockclimbing has brought some companies to the forefront, and the struggle for possession of this market continues. Manufacturers compete with each other to introduce new technologies, each inventing dozens of completely new and redesigned solutions.

Progress in the mountaineering equipment industry significantly increases the safety and comfort of mountain sports and makes our travels more successful and enjoyable.
However, understanding the market for mountaineering equipment is sometimes difficult even for a specialist - there are too many new technologies, beautiful at first glance, but useless in practice equipment.

Without objective testing, use in real conditions of difficult mountain hikes and ascents, it is impossible to identify both the positive aspects of new equipment and its defects, which are sometimes revealed only after serious and professional testing.
The importance of obtaining objective information on the characteristics of equipment cannot be overestimated, because the life and safety of the climbers can depend on this quality in the mountains.

On this page I bring to your attention various reviews of equipment that was used in our very real, sometimes extremely difficult conditions of professional mountaineering routes.
Good luck to you in the mountains and enjoy using your equipment!
