The filter itself is qualitatively glued, the sealant is visible around the perimeter. The container opens when you press the button on the side; there is a shutter inside that prevents accidental waste from falling out when the container is removed.

Along with the dust collector, the Yeedi 2 Hybrid has a water tank at the back. This is the most successful design of wet and dry robotic vacuum cleaners. There is no need to change the water tank to the dust collector, so the robot can vacuum and wash the floor at the same time.

Functionality

Now let’s look at the functionality of the mobile application. The installation went smoothly in my case. Interestingly, one of the installation steps is scanning the QR code with the camera of the robot itself, over which you need to place the screen of your smartphone. I have not seen this before.

So in the application on the main screen, the robot saves the constructed map. The quality of the cartography is high, as is the case with the premium models with a camera for navigation. There are 3 operating modes: automatic, area and custom. In area mode, you can select the desired rooms for cleaning with the desired sequence, as well as the number of passes by the robot: one or two. In automatic mode, the robot simply cleans the entire available area. In custom mode, you can select the cleaning zones on the map and the number of passes.

By going to the map management section, you can set forbidden zones, and there is a separate one for wet cleaning and for dry and wet, this is a plus. In addition, you can name the rooms.

The first step is to test the Yeedi 2 Hybrid’s navigation in an obstacle room. First, the robot passed the entire available area with a snake. He did not get stuck on the dryer, he swept around the legs of the chair, but he did not sweep around the box separately. After cleaning with a snake, the robot passed the perimeter of the room and returned to the base. Navigation is good, the test was successful.

As for cleaning the entire house, the Yeedi 2 Hybrid went through the entire available area, room by room, first with a snake, and then went through the entire perimeter and returned to the base. Cleaning 34 square meters, which he calculated as 29, took 41 minutes.

The robot is not fast, but it is not slow either. The speed is pretty standard. The main thing is that there are no uncleared areas left and the map is accurate, the test is passed successfully.

The suction power of the Yeedi 2 Hybrid was impressive. It sucked debris well from slots up to 6 mm deep, and was even able to partially suck out debris from 8 and 10 mm depths. It has excellent suction power and the robot can be positioned as powerful.

The quality of dry cleaning on laminate flooring is also pleasing. The robot vacuum cleaner was able to pick up all the debris from the floor, and even practically swept out in two of the four corners. Excellent result as for a round robotic vacuum cleaner. Most of the debris is collected in a dust collector, hair is wrapped around the brushes.

And on the carpet, the Yeedi 2 Hybrid showed a high quality of collection of hair, wool and fine debris. There was no debris left on the carpet after the robot had passed it.

The quality of wiping off dirt from the floor is also high, the robot coped with the task, did not leave streaks or stains on the floor. The only remark is that, like all other robotic vacuum cleaners, it does not blow along the baseboard. This is important to consider.

But for everyday wet cleaning, the Yeedi 2 Hybrid is perfect. I liked the quality of wet cleaning, the napkin leaves a uniform mark and is well pressed to the floor. The tank is enough for the entire cleaning cycle, i.e. for 80–100 sq.m. on one charge, depending on the selected mode.

But the Yeedi 2 Hybrid recognizes dark surfaces as differences in height, this is important to consider. Moreover, during the test on the carpet, he was not afraid of dark brown stripes, namely the black carpet became a problem for him.

Well, the last one is to measure the noise level of the robot in different modes. At the minimum power, the noise level is about 61 dB, in the average mode, about 66 dB, and at the maximum power, the noise level does not exceed 67 dB. This is an average noise level for robotic vacuum cleaners, but given the high suction power, the result is good.
