Resistance Lüneburg
IRDA - Ingress Resistência Dicas e AlertasLüneburg is a town in the German state of Lower Saxony. It is located about 50 km southeast of Hamburg, and belongs to that city's wider metropolitan region. The capital of the district which bears its name, it is home to roughly 77,000 people.
The logo of the "Resistance Lüneburg" is based on the official emblem of the medieval City of Lüneburg. This offical emblem shows a silver castle with 3 towers which have blue roofs with small golden bullets on it and a lion on the center. Curiously, there was never a silver castle in the city, but a already destroyed silver gate (not made of silver of course) from the middle ages, the composition of the city's coat of arms follows the same pattern since the 13th century, almost a century after Lüneburg receives the title of City.
It should demonstrate the skill of beeing well-fortified. Beeing well-fortified is perfect for a Community of Resistance agents, so since the beginning this castle, combinated with the Resistance key was the base of the logo. Before 2014 the logo had another design, created by an unknow artist, but was renewed by agent @gwath and since then it is the offcial logo of the Resistance Lüneburg for shirts, hoodies, agent-cards, stickers, and a lot of other swags which can be seen proudly worn by agents of this small but exquisite community on anomalies, mission days in Germany and Europe.
Lüneburg agentes made an appearence in the Ingress Report of april, 2016:
In the comic Ingress Origin, the Lüneburg Resistance logo appears along many others communitys logos:
