Studies say they’re genetically gifted, so what’s not to love?
There’s just something about redheads that gets us all fired up.
But it’s not all fun and games for these gorgeous women. As Huffington Post notes, research has shown that natural redheads are in fact genetically gifted by being more sensitive to certain types of pain than the rest of us and require up to 20 percent more anesthesia when going under the knife.
We say it’s all the more reason to show them a some appreciation. From A-list actresses to super-sexy Instababes, flame-haired vixens have always brought the heat, ginger jokes be damned!
For proof, check out these scorching-hot beauties in all their crimson glory below:

TBI identifies suspect in nearly 35-year-old Campbell County cold case slaying
TBI identifies suspect in nearly 35-year-old Campbell County cold case slaying

An in-depth look at the redhead murders
In the mid-1980s a string of cold cases along major interstates in and around Tennessee were similar in that they involved young women with red hair.

For the first time in the nearly 35 years since Tina Marie McKenney Farmer's body was discovered off Interstate 75 in Campbell County, the suspect in her death has a name.
The late Jerry Leon Johns, a truck driver from Cleveland, Tennessee, who at one time was considered a suspect in the so-called Redhead Murders of the 1980s, has been identified through DNA analysis as the man responsible for Farmer's death, authorities announced Thursday.
Johns died in prison in December 2015.
"This hasn't been easy, but we never gave up," Tennessee Bureau of Investigation Deputy Director Brad Nealon said during a news conference at TBI's Knoxville offices. "That represents our commitment in all cases, even those deemed cold."
Farmer, a 21-year-old Indiana woman with bright red hair, was found dead and wrapped in a blanket off the interstate near Jellico on New Year's Day 1985. Family members had reported her missing shortly after Thanksgiving Day 1984.
An autopsy determined she had been strangled, and likely died several days before her body was discovered.
Her death is often counted among a series of at least 11 unsolved homicides involving young women with red or reddish hair and slight builds whose bodies were found close to major highways in Tennessee and several other states between 1978 and 1992. Some call them the Redhead Murders.
Authorities never found definitive proof that any of the cases were connected, although investigators have quietly considered whether they might be the work of a serial killer.
TBI and the 8th Judicial District Attorney's Office will hold a news conference to discuss a development in a Campbell County homicide that occurred more than three decades ago. https://t.co/AqlCBFljt6
Johns was first deemed a suspect after his arrest in March 1985 for the abduction and attempted murder of a Knoxville woman.
Much like Farmer, Linda Schacke had been choked with a piece of cloth ripped from her T-shirt, bound and left for dead inside a storm drain under Interstate 40 near Watt Road. She, too, had red hair.
The knot in the cloth was very similar to the knot in a piece of material found tied around the neck of the Campbell County victim two months earlier, detectives told the News Sentinel at the time.
Her recovery quickly led to the arrest of Johns. The two had met at the former Katch One Club, where Schacke worked. That night, she went with him back to his hotel, where Johns pulled a gun on her, claiming to be a narcotics officer with Texas Rangers and then abducted her.
Once in custody, Johns was questioned by authorities about 20 unsolved slayings across Tennessee, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Alabama, Texas and Mississippi.
Investigators described him as an extremely intelligent ex-convict who had taken courses in criminal justice and who was quick to mention his interest in the psychology of serial killers during an initial interview.
"Serial killer was about the third thing that came out of his mouth," Knox County Detective Larry Johnson told the News Sentinel in the days after Johns' arrest.
Johns, too, gave an interview to the News Sentinel.
"Apparently I fit the mold of what they were looking for," he said from his jail cell. "You can't blame them. They've got a lot of unsolved cases all over the country. But they can try all they want, it won't work. I didn't do it."
A Knox County jury found Johns guilty of aggravated kidnapping and assault with intent to commit murder in 1987, but authorities never found evidence linking him to any homicide. He died while serving a 73-year prison term.
In 2016, TBI Special Agent Brandon Elkins, who has investigated Farmer's death for more than a decade, resubmitted crime scene evidence for modern DNA testing.
The analysis detected semen on Farmer's clothing, as well as on the blanket her body was found wrapped in. The DNA profile matched that of Johns.
On Wednesday, a Campbell County grand jury returned a finding that, if Johns were still alive, he would be indicted on a charge of first-degree murder in Farmer's death.
Thursday's public announcement came after Farmer's survivors were notified.
TBI officials say there's still no definitive proof connecting Johns to any other cases.
"While I am extremely disappointed that this case has not concluded in the prosecution of Jerry Johns," 8th Judicial District Attorney General Jared Effler said Thursday, "I am pleased that this investigation has answered questions for Ms. Farmer's family that heretofore had gone unanswered for over 34 years."
