Most days I can’t tell if I’m actually queer or if simply growing up in this society and watching porn has made me see all women with the male gaze.
Social media makes everything 10x worse. For some reason the only thing twitter shows me are hot girls with stereotypical instagram/porn bodies (tiny waist, flat stomach, boobs and a huge ass) posting thirst traps and advertising their onlyfans. But like, they’re also funny so that’s why I follow them? Btw my body looks nothing like that so it’s easy for me to sort of disassociate and see them as an “other.”
Anyway it doesn’t help to deprogram me and honestly reinforces all the damage that’s been done.
I recently relapsed again and I was watching porn without even trying to stop. I didn’t feel the disturbed and horrified feeling that motivated me to quit in the first place while I watched. I sought out darker and rougher porn, even made a new porn Reddit account after having deleted the last one while inspired.
I had been watching for like a week at least without feeling any remorse or guilt or desire to stop. Then I was traveling so I didn’t have time.
But now I’m still on vacation and I began getting flashbacks of sorts to really fucked up moments of porns I have watched. And the disturbed feeling is back.
I feel motivated to stop again, but I am really feeling sick from the things I watched that keep popping up in my thoughts now. I feel so horrified at myself for ever getting off to the violation of porn actresses. It’s so sickening and I’m getting an anxious feeling from it to the point where it’s difficult to interact with others on my trip cuz I’m disturbed.
Anyone else experience sudden glimpses of terrible porn scenes pop in their minds? Any advice on how to work through them so I don’t feel so anxious and disturbed? I hate that I have ever seen anything like what I used to watch
