i fell for the scam on snapchat and unfortunately sent a nude photo with my face not even thinking straight. 😬 Never being down bad again.

They sent it back and said they would sent it to my friends and family if i dont pay $750. I realized they left their location on so i took a SS and saved it and told them i have their adress. After a few hours of panicking i ended up reading some posts and blocking all the accounts and deactivating my instagram and facebook. They can still possibly find my snapchat because thats what we were on but nobody has followed up with the scam and no one i know has recieved a picture. I think i scared them off when i sent them their adress as they realize if they do post it i can go to police with evidence and their adress. Yall think i did the right thing?
You were lucky on getting his address. These scammers rarely follow through with their threats, even less when they know you have some piece of information of them (address, real name, IP address, etc.). They are real cowards and won’t risk anything just to expose you, since now they’ve lost their internet privacy in some way or another
Yeah like I have my guy’s real name and reported him to the authorities. I have 100% learned my lesson as well

luckily for me i havent heard anything from the scammer and nobody has texted me about a nude so for now i think i am good. I have been calm over it the last few days cuz at the end of the day i didnt do wrong
I did this to myself but did not get the scammers address. It been 4 days. I permanently deleted my insta and snap.
They took sperate video of my snap and sent it back through WhatsApp w/ screenshots of my contacts with threats. Did not pay and blocked on all fronts.
My own stupidity does not cease to surprise me. Am I good or is it too early to tell?

Shit man that sucks:( but you definitely did all you can. IMO you're good I would just lay low for a little. I honestly reactivated my insta like a week or two after it happened and haven't heard anything from any scammers or friends/family about a photo. They will rarely leak any photos or videos because it will put them at risk. If you wanna reactivate ur insta and stuff go for it, I would just keep it on private and be very weary accepting random accounts and messaging people.

im in america man. i would just ghost them and deactivate ur accounts for a while. as long as u didnt pay theres a 95% chance they wont leak anything it wouldnt do them any good.

So yesterday night I, like an imbecile, sent nudes to a scam bot on snap. They threatened to tell my friends and family and my followers on instagram. I am wondering how they can see my followers on instagram if my account is private and I never let the account they claimed to be using follow me. The only thing they could have done would be to hack another account that already follows me to see my followers, but that seems unlikely. They also could just look up my last name and possibly find my family members. I am just wondering if I should be in the clear or am I screwed?
Well it seems you don’t need to worry about anything. Just keep your social media private for a while. That’s my advice for you
All of my socials are always on private and im really thankful of that rn. The only thing that wasn’t private was Facebook but that only has 1 friend and I only use if for groups. I privated that after this incident too.
