The distension is present the moment I wake up and is present whether I eat food, whether or not I eat dairy, gluten, sugar, FODMAPs, etc. I eat relatively healthy (somewhat similar to a Mediterranean diet) and I exercise regularly (strength training ~5-6x a week with some cardio).
