I went on Omegle's 18+ section for hours and hours, never found any ladies who wanted to, just guys go there. I know it happens because I saw videos of it. But where does it happen? Where do you ladies go for this kind of thing? Or when?
you don't see them because the ratio is probably something in the order of 100:1 to 10000:1 depending on exactly where you go (as a male, you'll tend towards the male-dominated places, which doesn't help).
Fact is there are a lot more sexually desperate men because men value the sexuality of sex more than women, while women value the intimacy more (as a general rule; obviously, plenty of people of both genders fall outside those trends). You can't really get the kind of intimacy women want online - or rather, it's a lot more difficult, and more often than not, men aren't willing to try/aren't very good at it.
Sorry, this is more of an explanation of why you can't find them than an actual answer. But there's a reason there are sites like MFC where women get naked on cam for money. Why would anyone do it for free?
I was on Omegle yesterday and one woman pulled her top down and I'm pretty sure we were gonna go further but I stupidly pressed PrintScreen and she said "delete it" and she freaked out and left the chat. Probably never have that opportunity again in my life, totally kicking myself since yesterday.

I don't really think ladies do that. Because a lot of them know they can make money doing it. Lol I'm sure if a lady was horny enough to cyber she would be better off going out for some and finding some strange. I just think it's gonna be really rare finding a girl like that

Many, MANY thanks to Owl from the Discord for pointing out that this issue has numerous references to the indie comic series Love and Rockets . I've never heard of this comic and would have completely missed everything.
And many thanks to the users from the Love and Rockets subreddit and the /co/ board for pointing out lots of references I would have missed. I'm sure there are still references that weren't brought to my attention. If you see any, please tell me in the comments.
EDIT: Oh boy did I miss I big one . Some how I completely missed this. Titans in the Ring was a real wrestling show in Argentina from 1962 to 1988 and was created by Martín Karadagian (who's name is spelled Martin Karadjan in this). Even the show's logo is the same in the comic.
Page 2 Yes Michele, the creators are South American. Almost all the people who make the comics Eura publishes are South American. Try and find me someone who isn't.
Page 6 If you're confused, this issue starts at the end of the story. We'll flash back to the beginning and go from there in a few pages.
Page 12 ***"*** I don't know why I feel obligated to do you favors."
Cyber "habitually dumping strangers off at her friends apartments at a moments notice" six is not happy that one of her friends asked her for a favor.
Although admittedly it is a ridiculous favor. "Literally run my business based on a dangerous and not easily learnable skill. I'll be back whenever."
Go to 0:48. I've never seen footage from this episode before. If anyone can help translate what they're saying in the commercial, it would be greatly appreciated. I can't tell if this episode is based on anything from the comic or if it's a new story. If this commercial aired on April 29, 1996 then that means this would be the episode that aired May 1.
Also, be kind and leave a like and comment on the video (and maybe a donation if possible). Hopefully more of the Argentinian Youtubers who are uploading old VHSs will be encouraged to find the full episodes if they see a demand for them.

Hello Folks, Could you please advise me to switch from a Software Tester to a Career in Cyber Security? Currently I'm working as a QA Engineer. I have good exposure on JavaScript, Selenium, TestNG, SQL softwares. Your advice will be greatly appreciated 🙏.

So, back about the beginning of May, I get a call from a recruiting/headhunting company to inquire about my job search; we’ll call them Mary. I had recently updated my resume on the market, and they wanted to get a good idea of the types of roles I was looking for. Fairly standard stuff. She sends a questionnaire over, and asks me to fill it out.
The next evening, on the phone, I explain how I’ve been an ISSO for quite some time, and would like to break into an ISSM - I feel quite comfortable with the standards of policy, foundational knowledge (especially with regard to the NIST), and how to effectively determine risk posture based on system operating parameters. In other words, I’m willing to learn, and absolutely don’t know everything, but I’m confident in my abilities.
Anyway, as we continued to talk, the question of salary came up - being in the industry for a little bit, I know that compliance positions can be particularly competitively compensated, especially because they aren’t exactly well-sought-after for our more technically-minded colleagues. I gave what I felt was a competitive, but fair, starting point for negotiation at 205k - and naturally she balked at the number (“naturally”, since I’m kinda used to these types of “placement” recruiters to do so). Any rate, after literally laughing, which was pretty wild and a new one for me, she then said “well I don’t think anyone is going to take you seriously with an expectation like that.”
I felt I was able to stay polite, and thanked her for her time, and said I understand if that sounded unreasonable. I asked why she felt that way, so that I could get a better idea of what strengths or experiences I should highlight to better justify the salary. Her response was what rather irritated me: “Well, no one is going to pay someone of your age that much; and as a matter of fact, I just put someone in for that salary, and they have as many years of experience in the industry as you have years of life, ha ha” (for reference, I’m 30). She continued: “why do you feel that anyone would pay that much?”
I gave her the analogy of post-9/11 defense contracting, and how in a similar situation, the cybersecurity industry has grown in both compensation measurements and perceived value from a policymaker perspective (especially after the Colonial Pipeline incident). This has correlated to pretty significant pay expectations in the field, especially in federal compliance. It’s a critical-fill role, and I felt the salary expectation was in the ballpark. She told me that she knows what she’s doing, and has been recruiting in IT Security for 25 years. Fair enough.
All of this is fine, but the last part is what had me heated and honestly upset (off of the phone, anyway): she says “I’ll still put your resume out there, but I wouldn’t expect anyone to take you seriously and contact you - maybe I’m wrong, and maybe it’ll rain out here in the Midwest…but I wouldn’t bring an umbrella to work with me tomorrow.”
I am now week-two of a Senior-ISSM position making $215k; from a recruiter that contacted me directly, outside of the above referenced interaction. Now I really want to send a screenshot of my next paystub with an umbrella emoji to Mary saying “looks like it rained” - but I’ll take the boring “thank you for the opportunity, but I’ve taken a different role” stamp, if I hear back.
My point is this - our profession is in high demand. If you feel that you justify a certain compensation expectation, and can back that justification up with legitimate experience, academics, certification, and/or references, never settle for something you feel isn’t valuable to you. Someone gave me this advice when I started looking around, and it held up. If you can afford to wait for an opportunity that fairly compensates you, I recommend at least trying to.
For people who do mainly code review in their jobs, how fun is it? Do you enjoy doing it? I would imagine it getting a bit boring after a while if all you do is stare at code all day every day, especially if the developers are competent and there are little to no findings.
Does anyone else think there is more to this than a BGP screw up on a maintenance window? This is one of the largest companies in Canada. The cellular network and the core data network all went down. No redundancy in the network? No test environment planning before applying to production. Come on! Am I the only one having a hard time believing this was an amateur hour screw up?
I'm torn around this subject. As of late, I have become more and more aware of the way Google collects, stores and sells user data. Tonight, I have gone down a whole cybersecurity rabbit hole, researching every possible way to minimize my digital footprint online. I've concluded that using the following platforms would be the best way to go:
Start using a password manager instead of what I'm currently using (Safari's password manager)
Utilize an antivirus software and a VPN...
As I've come to this conclusion, before I switch everything over to the above list, I was starting to wonder, is this really necessary? I mean, Google's apps and search engine are the best on the market and they are completely free (at the expense of my data, obviously). I can see that using a dedicated password manager would be a good move, but will doing all of the other steps mentioned above really make that big of a difference?
