CASE STUDY 1
Lightweight Bio-ethanol engine design and manufacture.
Idea becomes relality. We designed, manufactured, tested and raced our own Bio-ethanol 2-stroke engine, the first UK company to achieve 2-stroke game changing technoology.
CASE STUDY 2
Lightweight components for bicycles. High performance brake discs machined from solid.
Cougar RED partnered a UK based business with the development of innovative lightweight bicycle components, unique production methods were employed to manufacture.
CASE STUDY 3
Specialist design and laser marking services for model horse sculptor
Drawing upon our expertise in laser marking we partnered a model horse sculptor in the design and manufacture of plaques for a limited production of collectable handmade model horses.
CASE STUDY 4
Engraving machine CAD services
Cougar RED was approached by an engraving company looking to manufacture its own engraving machine. Cougar RED came up with a design concept and generated all the production CAD data.
For an automotive customer we only use EDM wire in the production of their Rockers. This is an innovative approach that eliminates grinding processes normally associated with production.
CASE STUDY 6
Intake Trumpets - Milling & Turning
We produced intake trumpets for a motosport customer in just one machining opp. The process reduces production time and cost, it maintains the unique profiles and first-rate surface finish.
