Highly recommend Red and black Driving academy. I’ve had Glen for the past 8 months and he’s been great. I’ve passed today, first time, and from start to finish he’s been patient and always believed in me. Can’t thank him enough!
I would highly recommend Red and Black to anybody, especially those who are anxious drivers. Andy was patient, understanding and approachable - he really brings out the best in you. I started off a nervous wreck, but have ended up being so much more confident because of his commitment to me passing my test. I can’t thank you enough, Andy.

From the start Glen was most helpful and accommodating. We were restricted by school times and we managed to work around this for the 6 months of lessons. Teaching and advice were top quality. Two last minute test appointments were arranged with no fuss.
I’ve been driving with red and black driving academy for about 10 months more specifically with Andy, and all the way through its has been very enjoyable the methods if teaching are very easy to understand. I really enjoyed learning with them and would highly recommend them to any learner driving wanting to pass a test. I originally had a different test date in February however I was recommended to push it forwards to March and that was definitely the best decision to make. The prices are good and Glen (the other driving instructor) also made the effort to be there for my test just in case there was an issue with one of the cars. I definitely recommend them to learner drivers!
Passed my test in November 2021 after being with Andy for over 1 year due to lockdowns and broken bones. After 3 previous instructors I didn't think driving was for me but Andy made me feel comfortable and gave me the confidence I needed and got me the pass I'd wanted for a long time. Was never a dull moment in the lessons, rubbish sense of humour though! ? . If he can get me to pass, he can get anyone to pass. ? Thank you again.
I was taught by Andy from Red and Black driving and he was honestly the nicest kindest instructor ever, I was such a nervous and anxious driver but Andy was so calm with me and helped me all the way. Even when I failed first time he never gave up on me, he just helped me get through it and I passed a few weeks later… I couldn’t recommended them anymore.
Quality service all round from Glen who helped me go from not being able to drive to passing my test first time. Couldn't have asked for a better instructor or a sounder bloke and I am truly appreciative of everything he has done for me. I am truly appreciative for glen and the service he has rendered not only to me but to my own siblings. He provides great advise and instruction and I highly recommend his service to anyone looking to start driving. He is calm, considerate and easy going and will help you feel relaxed and unhibited when asking the most silly of questions when learning. With great fineesse he will guide and chaperone you into a skilled driver. Follow his instruction and rest assured you will pass with ease. 11/10 extra points for great banter.
We Used red and black for both my children and Glen was their instructor. Both my daughter and son have passed with no problems (apart from covid delays not Red and blacks fault) they thoroughly enjoyed their time with Glen. He bought out the best in them and instilled confidence and taught them how to drive really well, he made them feel instantly at ease and was always friendly with me (mum) and his pupils we will sincerely miss having him around every week. Both cars are modern clean reliable and great to drive. We bought the gold package each time which made it more affordable. We would not hesitate in recommending Glen to anyone who needed a brilliant awesome driving instructor, I can't thank him enough for getting both my son and daughter on the road. Red and black are the best out there in my opinion, keep up the great work Glen and Andy.

Couldn’t be happier, really great instructor, cuts straight to the point and tells you and shows you everything you need to know! Top bloke and top instructor!
