Part 1 - Coffee

Some of my friends might say that coffee runs through my veins, not blood. You bet! Those brown beans were my life for a very long time before joining IT, and they still are. For the past few years, I managed multiple coffee brands, built their brand identities, and designed the actual product and ways of communicating it to true coffee lovers. I also worked as an independent consultant to a few coffee shops and helped start them from scratch, hire the first employees, and set up fundamental operational standards. Those shops successfully run to this day. The quintessence of my love affair with coffee is "Dripfull Coffee" – the brand of high-quality coffee that I have owned and managed since 2020.

My experience with coffee gave me invaluable insights into how business processes work, how people collaborate with each other, and what sparks them to build something that brings real value and enjoyment to others. Coffee consultant is a very human-first job. So, when I decided to transition to IT, recruitment felt very natural to me.

Part 2 - Recruitment

Next year marks 2 years since I started helping organizations find exceptional talents and integrate them into their work process and culture. My most recent jobs were at a full-cycle design and development agency and an IT recruitment company that hired mostly senior specialists to work for product companies from the United States and Europe. This opportunity let me significantly accelerate my professional growth. I continuously communicated with the agency's C-suite and directly contributed to the sourcing strategy that will greatly improve searching for the right people for future job positions.

While my time at the previous company was productive and fortunate, I decided to look for better opportunities for myself – a company with joyful people, a great mission, and an urgent need to expand and hire more talents.

That's what I see coming up next in my story.
