FLEX Program Recruitment Assistant

POSITION SUMMARY
The Recruitment Assistant will be responsible for program administration and logistical support activities related to the Future Leaders Exchange (FLEX) Program 25-26 academic year recruitment cycle. The Recruitment Assistant is supervised by Senior Program Officer Azim Khasanov.
Specific duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support recruitment activities to ensure the timely and proper conduct of the competition;
- Support document and material processing; communicate with applicants to obtain required documents;
- Respond to emails, phone calls, and messages from applicants, parents, and other parties within a given framework;
- Provide logistics and operational support for the organization of FLEX recruitment programming as required;
- When appropriate, undertake other related duties assigned by supervisor, including possibility of travel.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Relevant work experience; prior experience with project management and/or logistics preferred
- Successful participation in a USG-funded program strongly preferred
- Able to manage time and tasks effectively and meet deadlines consistently
- Demonstrates professional oral and written communication skills in English, Russian, and Uzbek
- Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills; excellent attention to detail
- Willing to learn and able to comply with guidelines and procedures, such as for reporting on activities and recruitment funds
- Proficient in basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office, and comfortable learning new programs
- All applicants should be able to provide and maintain work authorization in Uzbekistan
COMPENSATION
- American Councils for International Education offers a competitive international salary based on local cost of living standards.
- This is a temporary, contract-limited, term-limited position; initial term of employment not to exceed six months;
- Starting Date: July 2024
