A married former middle school teacher who was accused of performing oral sex on a minor has now claimed that she was pressured and forced into it by the student. 31-year-old Justine Nelson took the witness stand on April 3 in Fresno, California, in order to defend herself against the felony counts of lewd and lascivious acts with a minor and oral copulation. She told the jurors that what had looked like an innocent friendship with the then 14-year-old student turned into threats and blackmail.
The Daily Mail reported that she also said she had finally performed the sex act out of the fear that she would lose custody of her young child. Nelson testified in court that her friendship with the student started when they were having conversations about basketball in her classroom at the Tenaya Middle School.
This was before the pair eventually moved on to direct messages on Instagram as well as secret text messages, the Fresno Bee reported. The former teacher admitted that the student's attention worked as an ego-boost amidst all the difficulty in her relationship with her husband since their marriage was on the rocks at the time.
She even testified at one point that she sent a photo of herself at a bachelorette party to the student. Roger Nuttall, her attorney, asked: "Why did you do that?" She replied: "For attention. ... It's embarrassing." When asked if she thought it was appropriate to send the photo, Nelson responded: "No. For starters, I'm married and I knew it would hurt my husband. And I'm a teacher."
Nelson continued to say how she was forced into committing the deed as she said that one day at school, the student had gone into her room, kissed her spontaneously, and then ran out. She told the court that she was upset but did not report the incident after the student apologized and she forgave him. She then testified that the student was getting bolder after that by entering her classroom, closing the door, and demanding they have sex or oral sex.
The teacher said that she resisted his demands but was living in fear that he would expose their illegal relationship, causing her to lose custody of her child. She testified more by saying the student had gone to her classroom one day and pulled his pants down, and pushed her head towards his exposed penis. Nelson wept at the witness stand and said: "I just wanted to get it over with. I was so sick and tired. I thought he would stop asking me and just go away. I didn't want my baby to be taken away."
During a police interview, Nelson told detectives the student threatened to spread rumors about her if she did not consent. She also admitted to sending him and another former student semi-nude photos of herself. But prior to this, in 2016, Fresno police sex crimes detectives, Sylvia Martinez and Derek Avila had interviewed Nelson at her school where they had asked her about the allegations brought against her. The teacher's reply at that time had been "That’s seriously disgusting."
The student, who is now 16-years-old, has a completely different version of events while testifying last week. He said that Nelson was the one who initiated the relationship and had repeatedly invited him to her classroom to perform oral sex on him.
The authorities said that the case was brought to their attention when the student posted nude photos of Nelson on social media. If Nelson is ever convicted of the charges that have been brought against her, she could face up to 14 years behind bars and be required to register as a sex offender.

A Kentlake High School teacher performed oral sex on a 17-year-old student after he described sorrow over a breakup with his girlfriend and detailed ways he planned to kill himself, according to court documents released Monday.
The boy’s math teacher, who turned 37 Sunday, was in court Friday and was released from King County Jail shortly before 8 p.m. on personal recognizance. She has not been charged, which is why she is not being named by seattlepi.com, and has been placed on administrative leave.
The teacher groped the teen in her classroom, performed oral sex on him in a dark complex near his house, and sent text messages asking when they would have sex, according to police documents.
The investigation, which began March 8, was referred to the King County Prosecutor’s Office on Monday and is being reviewed. The woman is scheduled to have her second court appearance Tuesday, an office spokesman said.
The teacher, who indicated she was married on her school web page and had a spouse listed on her initial court document, did not return a call Monday for comment.
Police documents show the teen switched into one of her math classes during the second semester of his sophomore year and the woman, who taught geometry, algebra and general math, gave him after-school help.
The student “felt like she was the best math teacher he ever had,” Detective Christine Elias wrote in a probable-cause document.
Then the teen’s girlfriend broke up with him and police say he became upset. The teen’s mother became suspicious after the teacher called their home concerned about him.
The Sheriff’s Office was first contacted in early February when the teen allegedly threatened to kill himself. During a meeting with his parents, the math teacher described two ways he could cause harm — methods his parents were not aware of, according to court documents.
The boy’s “mother logged onto the family’s cellular phone account due to her increasing suspicions,” Elias wrote. “She found almost 800 text messages back and forth” from Jan. 25 to Feb. 21.
The teary-eyed teacher also allegedly pleaded with an assistant principal after the student was suspended for fighting with a friend, saying it was the other student who started the fight.
Police say the teacher was told verbally and in writing Feb. 11 to stop all personal contact with the student, but it continued.
“At one point (the teen) sent her a text message saying she was beautiful,” Elias wrote. “She sent him a message stating that she was attracted to him.”
The teacher then “sent text messages to (the teen) saying that she fantasizes about him and how she wanted him,” the detective wrote. “When the student told (his math teacher) that they got a hot tub she sent him a message stating that she would fantasize about that.”
Police say the teacher groped him in her classroom later and persisted with text messages, saying it would be worth it for them to meet. They drove to a housing development near where he lives and she performed a sex act, according to court documents.
She then sent text messages asking when they were going to have sex, according to the detective.
The Kentlake teacher’s arrest last week occurred the same day a former Garfield High School teacher, Taryn M. Fairbanks, pleaded guilty to having sex with a 17-year-old student in 2010.
Fairbanks, 34, now faces six months to a year in jail after pleading guilty to first-degree sexual misconduct with a minor, a felony.
The age of consent in Washington is 16, however there are exceptions for teachers and adults in positions of authority.

The video was apparently filmed by an unidentified person on a mobile phone.

The incident took place at Changzhou University in China's Jiangsu province.
In the footage, the girl can be seen resting her legs on the man's shoulder.
According to Live Leak, the professor is currently under investigation for violating the code of conduct.
The footage first appeared on the Chinese social media platform, Weibo and later spread to other platforms as well.
