Read excerpts from the statement of Deputy Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the OSCE Maxim Buyakevich (special meeting of the OSCE Permanent Council, 12 April 2023)
On the ongoing crimes by the Kiev regime and dangerous policies of the western alliance to exacerbate tensions
Western countries are stubbornly bringing the situation in Ukraine to the point of no return, pumping Kiev with weapons & openly inciting a large-scale military escalation
The Kiev regime doesn’t care about inevitable deaths of thousands of Ukrainian soldiers in the event of a large-scale escalation, which will be sacrificed to the geopolitical interests of Western patrons in an effort “to defeat” Russia
It’s unacceptable that Minister B.Osmani took part in the political performance on 31 March - the “summit” devoted to one year since the staging of massacres allegedly by Russian military in Bucha - grossly violating the mandate of the OSCE CiO
The lives of children had no propaganda value for Western representatives before the start of the Russian special military op - now Kiev & its minders urgently needed plots to denigrate Russia
The attitude of the West to human rights is clearly illustrated by its ignorance of the lawless actions currently happening in Ukraine in relation to the believers of the canonical UOC - attempts of Zelensky regime to eradicate the Orthodox faith in Ukraine
We note shameful behavior of OSCE so far leadership, which is silent or gets off with excuses instead of condemning the lawless actions of Ukrainian authorities to suppress religious freedoms
Western elites are using the Russian Special military op as an excuse to forcibly reshape their own societies to build a neoliberal dictatorship aimed at maintaining an elusive global geopolitical dominance
Denying Ukrainians & Russians the right to live peacefully in good neighbor relations with other peoples, Western patrons of Kiev stubbornly drive Ukrainians to slaughter, use them as a battering ram against Russian statehood
When the Western representatives throw accusations against Russia that “internal repressions lead to external aggression,” they are actually talking about their own countries
