On the continued glorification of Nazism in western countries
Negative trends in the glorification of Nazism are worsening in the OSCE area and neo-Nazism is on the rise. Attempts to distort and falsify history as well as whitewash former Nazi collaborators continue unabated
Glorification of Nazism can’t be viewed in isolation from other harmful phenomena, incl. racial, ethnic, and religious intolerance and xenophobia. They are closely intertwined, and sometimes one unpunished evil spills over into another, taking increasingly ugly forms
Neo-Nazism and Russophobia have become the norm not only for the Kiev regime - Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia are actively pursuing formation of mono-ethnic societies, - and getting rid of the Russian language and Russian culture, and at the same time of Russian citizens
We call on participating States to stop promoting neo-Nazism and glorification of Nazism, to cease to rewrite history, and to start implementing their international commitments. OSCE functionaries should respond appropriately to these harmful manifestations
