About The Role
We are seeking a talented and motivated React Native Developer to join our team in a remote capacity. This position can be part-time or full-time, depending on the candidate's availability and preferences. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining multiple applications that align with our company's mission to improve the world. The role involves collaborating closely with our lead developers and project managers to deliver high-quality, user-friendly mobile applications. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to meaningful projects that make a difference. Flexibility in working hours outside of scheduled meetings is available, allowing for a balanced work-life experience. Immediate availability is preferred, as we are looking to onboard new team members quickly to meet project deadlines and expand our development capabilities.
Qualifications
* Fluent in English, both written and verbal, with excellent communication skills.
* Possession of a 4-year degree in Computer Science or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Minimum of one year of professional experience working with React Native. Experience with Flutter is considered a plus.
* Availability for meetings between 9 am to 1 pm EST, with the flexibility to work outside these hours.
* Willingness to undergo identity verification as part of the onboarding process.
Responsibilities
* Develop, test, and maintain high-quality mobile applications using React Native.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and other developers, to deliver seamless user experiences.
* Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and workflows.
* Stay updated with the latest industry trends and incorporate new technologies and techniques into projects.
* Assist in troubleshooting and resolving bugs or technical issues promptly to ensure optimal app performance.
* Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to provide project updates and gather requirements.
