These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the ReThreads Chrome extension (“ReThreads”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).

By installing or using ReThreads, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the extension.

2. Description of the Service

ReThreads is a Chrome extension that enables AI-assisted generation and automated posting of comments on Threads.

The service may:

read publicly visible content on Threads pages currently opened by the user;
analyze posts based on user-defined filters;
generate AI-assisted comments;
insert and submit comments on behalf of the user after explicit activation (“Start” action).

The service only operates when explicitly enabled by the user.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least:

13 years old to use ReThreads;
18 years old to purchase paid plans.

By using ReThreads, you confirm you meet these requirements.

If we determine a user is under 13, we may delete associated data and terminate access.

4. Account Model

ReThreads does not use traditional passwords.

Authentication is based on Threads username recognition and server-issued tokens.

Access is tied to a specific Threads username and may not function if the username changes.

Accounts are personal and non-transferable.

5. User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for:

all actions performed through ReThreads;
all content posted via the extension;
compliance with Threads/Meta policies and applicable laws.

AI-generated content may be inaccurate, misleading, or inappropriate. You are responsible for reviewing all outputs before posting.

6. No Affiliation

ReThreads is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with Meta, Instagram, or Threads.

7. Automation & Platform Risk Disclaimer

ReThreads provides automation functionality for third-party platforms.

You acknowledge that:

use of automation tools may violate Threads or Meta policies;
your account may be restricted, limited, or banned;
platform enforcement decisions are outside our control;
service behavior may break or change due to external platform updates.

You use ReThreads at your own risk.

We are not liable for:

account bans or suspensions;
loss of followers, engagement, or visibility;
platform enforcement actions;
any damages resulting from use of the service.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use ReThreads for:

spam or mass unsolicited commenting;
harassment or abuse;
illegal activities;
impersonation;
manipulation or coordinated inauthentic behavior;
violation of third-party platform rules.

We may suspend or terminate access for violations.

9. Subscription & Payments

ReThreads offers:

Free Trial

Each account receives 30 free AI-generated comments (lifetime).

Monthly Subscription

Auto-renewing subscription
Can be cancelled at any time
Access remains active until the end of the paid billing period

Quarterly Plan

One-time payment for 3 months of access
Does not auto-renew
Access ends after the paid period

Payments are processed via LemonSqueezy (Merchant of Record).

10. Usage Limits

The service includes usage limits, including a limit of approximately 500 comments per day per account.

These limits:

may apply across all plans;
may be changed at any time;
are not guaranteed entitlements;
are implemented for platform safety, abuse prevention, and system stability.

11. Refunds & Cancellation

Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time.

Upon cancellation:

access remains active until the end of the billing period;
no further charges are made.

Payments are generally non-refundable once access is granted.

Exceptions may apply in cases of:

duplicate payments;
technical failure preventing use of the service;
legal requirements;
other exceptional circumstances at our discretion.

Non-use of the service does not qualify for a refund.

Account deletion does not entitle users to refunds.

12. AI-Generated Content

ReThreads uses third-party AI services (OpenAI API) to generate content.

Outputs:

may be inaccurate or inappropriate;
are not guaranteed to be unique or correct;
must be reviewed before posting.

13. Data and Security

We implement reasonable security measures, but cannot guarantee absolute security of data.

Service availability is not guaranteed.

14. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if:

Terms are violated;
abuse or fraud is detected;
required by law or platform enforcement risk;
system integrity is threatened.

15. Changes to the Service

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.

We may also update pricing or features for future billing periods.

16. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE”.

We disclaim all warranties, including:

fitness for a particular purpose;
uninterrupted operation;
error-free performance;
compatibility with Threads or Chrome.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

SIA Manon is not liable for:

indirect or consequential damages;
loss of data or revenue;
account bans or restrictions;
platform enforcement actions;
service interruptions.

Total liability is limited to the amount paid in the last 12 months.

18. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Latvia.

Disputes shall be resolved in Latvian courts.
