Rating Scale For Jeremy_Chronicles reviews
JeremyChroniclesI needed to acknowledge this,
Basically giving a through explanation for what I take into account when reviewing a album/single
Rating scale explanations for albums I review:
Whatever/10: albums that i'm completely indifferent on, not bad, not good, just whatever
0-9/100: embarrassingly bad, almost no redeeming qualities, worst things in music maybe
10-19/10: a rare salvageable point in the record, rest of thing, terrible
20-29: couple flashes in the pan, like a moment in the album, rest sucks
30-39: horrific disappointment, few good tracks, hard to endure because music is either boring / terrible or somewhere in between, no urge to revisit it besides favorite tracks (maybe)
40-49: disappointing & forgettable, couple good tracks & moments, rest of the albums falls under mid/bad territory, might revisit my favorite tracks
50-59: can have bad songs / moments but the music falls under painfully average most of the time with tracks ranging from good to great, passable music
60-69: music is either pretty good or nice, I'll use words like those for albums under this rating, albums that are nice enough, have strong moments but as an experience not incredible the whole way
70-79: overall great listen, even though there's a few tracks/moments that don't match the highs, there's a bassline of serviceable to strong music, can be an honorable mention or be in AOTY conversation
80-89: amazing listen, might contain a track that isn't my taste but the music is really strong and has loads of tracks I love, allowed to be a AOTY contender
90-99: near flawless album, might have a track or a moment that I'm not fully in tune with, still some of the best music
10/10: perfect album, no skips, everything is perfection, best music in my opinion. Might age like fine wine.
