For seven years Randy of Randy Blue has been heating up the gay adult industry with one of the best online sites. If you’ve visited Randy’s website you’ll know he only picks the best looking guys to showcase in his veritable parade of hotties. Some people know early on in their life that they want to go into the adult industry, but for Randy it was more of an accident. He explained, “It actually started as a fluke. I was trying to support myself by shooting for other websites and they weren’t interested in my content. I knew that I had a certain vision and others didn’t get it, so I just decided to start my own website and see if anyone else would like what I like. And I guess they do!” Recently Randy’s site won the Cybersocket award for Best Original Content for the third consecutive year, but that’s just one of the many different awards he’s won over the years.
Maintaining Randy Blue’s high standards year after year can be difficult, but the hottest guys keep flocking to Randy Blue because they see it as a way to get their feet in the door of the adult industry. “I think the most important thing is to surround yourself with employees who get the vision and are more interested in doing a great job than harassing the models. When models feel that you are doing this to make them look good, they feel comfortable and want to do their best. Humor goes a long way, too — and a laid back style.” Ethan Parker , one of Randy’s deliciously cute and straight models, mirrored this sentiment when we asked him how many people were usually on set when he shot a scene. “Normally one or two, but Randy and his crew make it very comfortable for us. I love it.”
It’s this type of attitude that has earned Randy such a great reputation. That’s why so many newcomers seek him out, as well as established performers who want better exposure. Contrary to the fantasy, becoming a Randy Blue model doesn’t just involve walking in and dropping your pants.
