Rance 01: Hikari wo Motomete The Animation is the greatest... masterpiece I've ever seen. This god-tier anime is high quality story up there with the likes of Jojo's, Cowboy Bebop, Monster, I might even say it surpasses all of them easily. The characters are very developed and filled with 𝐃𝐄𝐄𝐏 backstories, while the sound design just 𝐎𝐎𝐙𝐄𝐒 with quality. But I think the high point of the show would really be the quality """𝐏𝐋𝐎𝐓"""
It really outshines every other show on the market right now. My enjoyment with the show was mainly due to the 𝐂𝐋𝐈𝐌𝐀𝐗 which was perfectly portrayed and shot with a nice

𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐃 and creative camera angle. Overall, I think Rance 01: Hikari wo Motomete The Animation is just a true example of how anime is not dead and this is the resurrection as visual media as a whole.
Rance is easily the greatest hentai of all time. It is even better than a lot of mainstream anime.
It has become my favourite hentai & I will recommend it to anybody who is a man of culture.
It has the one of the best animation for a hentai that I've watched so far. There were some flaws but it is still pretty amazing.
It is one of the few hentai I've watched that has a great plot. The story was so great & I enjoyed it so much that I wanted it to continue for two or three more OVA series with our favourite MC Rance going

for more quests and banging many many girls along the way.
The voice acting is also great, those moans & screams really got buried in my mind.
The characters were my favourite because of their development throughout the story. For example how Rance's character changed from a "perverted rapist" to a "rapist of justice" & how he managed to build peace & harmony in the city by f*cking the evil-loli queen senseless. He really is a great MC for a hentai.
I enjoyed this hentai more than anything I've watched so far. Sometimes I laughed so hard that tears came out of my eyes, sometimes I was rooting for the MC to win & sometimes got a boner that just wouldn't go away.
Really worth my time.

Rance 01 : Hikari wo Motomete The Animation, is a HENTAI, so here it goes~
-Story : this one is one of few hentai i've watched with some stories bound into it. The story revolves around our MC, Rance, in his quest to find Hikari. Pretty mediocore if i may say, but Rance 01 executed the story really well, really better than i expected. From ep 1 to the end they kept me interested and entertained no matter how stupid it may sound. But yeah, who watch hentai for stories ?
- Art : the colors and animation are awesomely drawn. I guess there are some flaws
...
when the "scene" occurs, like badly-shaped character. But they're kinda minor so it's still good.
- Sound : i really love the sound department, because the voice-act is in place, and the Queen's and Sill's sound, cute!
- Character : the characters, even tho are kinda dull, but given that this is a hentai, they're good. Rance, for example, is your usual-MC-lust-driven-but-somehow-is-really-good-at-fighting. But how rance talk and act is kinda funny. And there are scenes when Rance hit Sill's head (lightly) which are fun to watch, kept me entertained the whole time.
- Enjoyment : no matter what i said in previous departments, Rance 01 is still a hentai afterall. The enjoyments depends on the "scenes". There are 1-3 "scenes" per episode, and kinda short (There are some BDSM stuff too, just a little). Fair enough.
Verdict : if you're bored with those hentai that just full of "scenes", go give Rance 01 a chance!

The barbaric warrior Rance loves nothing more than the company of beautiful women. Traveling around the continent with his faithful slave Sill Plain, Rance takes on odd jobs for a chance to appease his insatiable libido. Although his perverted instincts often land him in hot water, people from far and wide nevertheless laud his heroic feats.
While undertaking a request to locate a missing noble girl, Rance and Sill arrive in the majestic Kingdom of Leazas. As they split up to investigate several leads, Rance finds himself aiding the townsfolk with various problems, from rescuing a kidnapped barmaid to purging an undead outbreak. Amassing both fortune and females, the warrior eventually uncovers a dark secret within the kingdom that only he can stand against.

This is a remake of the original Rance title which came out 24 years ago. The womanizing warrior Rance is accompanied by his magician slave Sill as they search for the kidnapped noble daughter Hikari. It uses an old-style chip-based battle system, but the layout is pretty polished. It comes with some spiffy BGMs as well. Protagonist of the Rance series. A warrior affiliated with the Keith Guild; when he's short on cash, he takes jobs from them. Most of the time, though, he simply travels around having adventures of his own accord, accompanied by his slave, Sill. His goal in life is to assemble a harem consisting of all the hot women in the world and live it up. Recently, though, he's taken it into his head to "conquer" the princesses of each of the four main kingdoms in the world - Ria from Leazas, Magic from Zeth, Kouhime from JAPAN, and Siera from Helman. At the moment, he's managed to snag Lia and Magic, with Kouhime being on hold for a few years until she grows up a little more. Because of this recent pursuit, he's ended up heavily involved with events of historic significance in Leazas, Zeth, and JAPAN, with Helman next in line.
One of Lia's personal ninjas, she does all the dirty or secret jobs that Lia orders her to do. While seemingly apathetic from the outside, Kanami is actually very concerned with her ability as a ninja. It's implied that she is always training by herself to hone her skills. She longs to be a normal girl, but that's an impossible dream. Lia ordered her to keep tabs on Rance , a job that she hates since she also hates him.
Lia Parapara Leazas is the recently crowned Queen of Leazas. Leazas has prospered under her rule, despite the fact that she was only recently coronated. Sill is a slave purchased by the great adventurer Rance in the year LP0001 prior to the events of Rance 01. Rance purchased her for 15,000 GOLD and has been forced to travel alongside him wherever he goes since then. However, Sill developed strong romantic feelings for him and, even though the "Absolute Obedience Magic" once cast on her has long since worn off, she remains single-mindedly loyal to Rance regardless. She was originally from a rich family in Zeth but under "certain circumstances" ended up in the slave market sold to Rance. She is capable of using both offensive and healing magic, in addition to the creation of magic barriers. She is also known to have a large knowledge of worldly culture and history, as well as an understanding of many creatures. She wasn't actually born in Leazas and is in fact from the eastern country of JAPAN, making her habits and looks different to that commonly seen in Leazas. Klean Bew is a dutifully and cheerful maid that currently works on Rance Castle, although she used to be a maid in Leazas Castle. She is in mostly in charge of duties related to cleaning and tiding, and loves doing so. Very shy and meek, she loves doing her job, and tries to make everything clean, neat, and tidy. Louis Quitowack is an adventurer of the Keith Guild. A mild-mannered man in spite of his appearance, Louis works hard as an adventurer to pay off the staggeringly high debts that he has amassed across his life. Despite this, however, he has a tendency to take on jobs that are too difficult for him to complete due to them offering the largest reward. Menad Shisei is among the youngest of Leazas Knights, being a talented girl that worked hard to gain a respectable position. At 15 years old, she was already strong enough to be given the role of the Gatekeeper of the Leazas Castle in the Capital of Leazas and, at 17 years old, became the 2nd in command of the Leazas Red Corps, the strongest unit of the Leazas Army. Menad is rather tomboyish and unwomanly most of the time. She's usually very serious and is a very diligent girl that takes her responsibilities very seriously, always trying her best in every situation. Her attitude has made her be treated like a boy rather than a woman for most of her life, and led her to develop a sense of insecurity with herself and complex for her lack of feminine qualities. While on duty she's extremely serious, but she is a surprisingly honest and cheerful girl in her daily life, perfectly showcased in her times with one of her best friends Kanami . Unfortunately, she's also clearly young and naive, and can sometimes be fooled or manipulated rather easily by people who want to take advantage of her position. Menad also has a love for the sword, and admires strong and talented fighters, growing to immensely respect her General and mentor Rick Addison . She admires him greatly due to his outstanding swordsmanship, being the reason why she started wielding a sword instead of a spear when joining his army. He trained her in the art of the sword and she's even copied his special move the By-La Way, creating her own special attack called "Kua-Lu Lane", which is similar to Rick's trademark attack, albeit less powerful.
