Rachel Weisz has said that she did not use a body double for the nude scenes in her upcoming movie Agora .
The actress, who stars as the fourth century Greek philosopher and astronomer Hyaptia in the film, told the Daily Mail that it is her body in its two naked scenes.
Weisz said: "It was all me, never even thought of using a double.
"Although I was thinking about baby fat - but I think most of it had gone by the time I went before the cameras. I did some yoga, that helped, and just avoided junk food."
She added that her character in the film "famously never had sex" and "died a virgin", despite being surrounded by male students and slaves.

They are usually wracked with insecurities about their figures. But Rachel Weisz has a little more confidence than your average actress.
The 38-year-old Oscar winner said she was happy to appear naked in her latest film - and never even dreamed of using a body double.
Rachel, who stars as 4th century Greek philosopher and astronomer Hypatia in her new movie Agora, proved her point beautifully in a daring green Valentino gown split to the thigh at the Cannes Film Festival last night.
Thigh's the limit: Rachel Weisz was a vision in green Valentino at the premiere of her latest film Agora at the Cannes Film Festival last night
Confident: The actress said she felt fit enough to do all her own nude scenes in the movie
Rachel appears nude in two scenes in the film - one in which she emerges from a bath while her young slave, played by Max Minghella, attends to her with a towel.
Asked if a body double was used for the revealing scene she responded: 'Absolutely not. It was all me, never even thought of using a double.
'Although I was thinking about baby fat - but I think most of it had gone by the time I went before the cameras,' she told the Daily Mail.
Rachel, who has a two-year-old son called Henry with her fiancé, American film maker Darren Aronofsky, added: 'I did some yoga, that helped, and just avoided junk food.'
Earlier in the day she showed off her svelte figure in an olive green Christian Dior shift dress when she attended a photocall.
Red carpet glamour: The 38-year-old stars as real-life 4th century Greek philosopher and astronomer Hypatia in the film
Love triangle: Max Minghella (L) plays the devoted slave of Hypatia (Weisz) while Oscar Isaac (R) plays one of her students
Dedicated philosopher: Weisz in character as Hypatia in the movie
Hypatia, who lived from c370-415, was a Greek philosopher, mathematician and astronomer. She spent her life surrounded by students and slaves, all male.
'But as far as we know she famously never had sex, she died a virgin', Rachel explained.
Co-star Max Minghella, the son of late director Anthony Minghella, plays Hypatia's devoted slave, along with Oscar Isaac as one of her students. The relationship between the three creates a love triangle of sorts between them.
Naked ambition: The actress turned up for a photo call earlier in the day in an olive Dior dress and says she avoided junk food ahead of filming for the nude scenes
The movie takes up the issue of religious persecution and how Christian zealots of the time treated women.
Rachel said the film also had parallels to how women fare today in some Middle Eastern countries.
'Women are still treated as second class citizens, they are denied education in Afghanistan. There are many countries where women are treated badly,' Rachel said.
Making the movie also made her examine her own views on gender equality, she said.
She recalled questioning director Alejandro Amenabar why her character wasn't kissed in the film. 'I thought she'd get at least one,' she said.
She eventually gained better understanding of her character by reflecting on the life of her own aunt, Judith Weisz, a professor of endrocrinology and cancer research.
Double act: Rachel poses with director Alejandro Amenabar
'My character doesn't want to give up her work to be with a man and my aunt explained that when she graduated from college.
'She said, "I never believed a man who said he would allow me to work as hard as I wanted to", and that was inspiration from my father's older sister.'
Earlier that day, the red carpet outside Cannes's famous Palais Des Festivals was awash with supermodels at the screening of Vengeance.
Representing L'Oreal were Dutch model Doutzen Kroes, 24, and Lost actress Evangeline Lilly.
Former Bond girl Michelle Yeoh looked stunning in a floor-length gown, while Italian actress and xXx star Asia Argento went for a gorgeous blue tiered dress.

Rachel weize nude - 62 Rachel Weisz Sexy Pictures Are Filled Hotness

In London, it seems like you're always running for the bus.
True, Rachel Weisz covered her nude boobies with her hands.
The thought of this alone can make you a fan of her fantastic body shape.
Me: Not in a movie? She has a degree from Cambridge in English Literature.
Just the ribbon, just the bow alone! Weisz also works in theatre.
I am, she tells me, the first non-Japanese journalist to ever present her with a gift.
