Michigan GOP gubernatorial nominee Tudor Dixon gave the media her definition of pornography during a bizarre press conference on Tuesday.
Dixon, 45, went on to offer to send some examples of pornography to the reporter.
Her remarks came amid a battle in Michigan over what texts are suitable for students in the state's public schools. The press conference was held on the steps of the Michigan Department of Education headquarters in Lansing.
Dixon also said that she would be in favor of a statewide ban on books that were deemed to be pornographic.
The Donald Trump-backed nominee was asked by a reporter: 'Can you define what pornographic means for you in terms of books in K-12 schools?'
The part-time actor answered: 'Do you need me to define pornographic?' According to her IMDb page, Dixon has appeared in several horror movies such as Buddy BeBop vs the Living Dead and Inception of Chaos.
She continued: 'So, there's two naked people and they are acting out a sexual act – multiple different sexual acts. Do you want me to send you some so you can see them?'
When the reporter said that she would okay with receiving some pornography from Dixon, the conservative said: 'That would be fine.'

On top of that is the battle over teacher training videos in the state that suggest it is okay, in certain situations, for teachers to withhold information about a student's sexual orientation or gender identity from parents, if the child's safety is at risk.
The pornography exchange began when Dixon said said that if she were to become the state's governor, her administration would 'ban school personnel from talking to young kids about sex and gender behind their parents' backs.'
She went on to say that any teacher caught talking about sex or sexuality with a child without the parents knowledge would be 'prosecuted just as they would currently if they did that at a bus stop.'
The overall message of Dixon's press conference focused on ending 'radical sex' and 'gender activism' in Michigan schools.
There were colorful signs held up by Dixon supporter that included slogans such as 'Protect Girls Sports,' 'End Radical Sex & Gender Activism in Our Schools' and 'Get Schools Back to Basics.'

The nominee did not specifically name the books that she wanted to but her administration would be looking to 'make sure that we are not having children reading pornographic — or having a teacher read pornographic — material to a child in school.'
During the press conference, Dixon called for the state's education superintendent Michael Rice to resign over the teacher training videos. She said: 'I'm here first and foremost calling for the resignation of state superintendent Michael Rice.'
Even Gov. Whitmer has criticized the videos, saying that parents should be included in teacher's decisions regarding their children.
The video was titled: 'Laying the Foundation: Understanding the Identities and Experiences of LGBTQ+ Students in Michigan.'
A spokesman for Rice said in response to Dixon that the superintendent has no plans to resign.
The spokesperson said: 'Dr. Rice stays committed to working with parents and educators across the state to protect the health, well-being and education of all Michigan students.'
Previously, Dixon has been open in her objection to the book All Boys Aren't Blue: A Memoir-Manifesto, an autobiographical graphic novel aimed at young adults.
It deals with author's journey growing up as a queer Black man in New Jersey and Virginia.

Recently, Florida's Governor Ron DeSantis made national headlines over his book banning policies in schools
Recently, Florida's Governor Ron DeSantis made national headlines over his book banning policies in schools, a move that was described as 'deeply undemocratic,' by free speech activist group Pen America.
Dixon explained her policies saying: 'This is about protecting children, protecting parents rights, and getting our schools back to the basics of teaching kids how to read, write, and do math.'
She also said: 'Our schools are not doing nearly a good enough job of preparing students to go to college or enter the workforce.'
Dixon described schools as treating students like 'lab rats' in a 'social experiment.' There were also references in the press conference to transgender students in women's sports and gender-neutral bathrooms.
In Michigan, the state superintendent does not answer to the governor but rathe to the Board of Education, a panel that are nominated by the state's parties and elected in a general statewide election.
Dixon has pledged, if elected, to change state law to ensure that the superintendent does answer to the governor.

On November 8, Dixon will square off against incumbent Democratic Governor Gretchen Whitmer.
Most recent polls show that Whitmer has a double-digit lead over Dixon in the state. The Republican polls strongest among men in the state.
Democrats already are focusing on abortion rights in the race between Whitmer and Dixon, who opposes abortion in all circumstances except to protect the life of the mother.
The Democratic Governors Association has repeatedly hit Dixon in advertising, calling her position 'too radical' for Michigan.
Dixon appears to be trying to swing the debate elsewhere.
In a tweet earlier this month following the Michigan Supreme Court decision, she said voters 'can vote for Gretchen Whitmer's abortion agenda & still vote against her.'
She then turned to other issues, including crime.
'Gretchen, time to stop hiding behind your BS ads,' Dixon said. 'I'm here to clean up your mess, turn our schools around, stop your crime wave, fix the roads, & bring back the jobs you cost us.'
Democratic-aligned groups, meanwhile, are buoyant that the measure will be on the ballot and plan to be out out in full force to get out the vote.
A group that led the petition effort, Reproductive Freedom for All, said supporters are out organizing statewide.

A single mum has been fined £300 after neighbours complained about loud sex noises that 'sounded like a porn movie'.
Kristin Morgan, 41, of Llay, Wrexham, was also advised to apply for a grant to insulate her home to help stop the noise.
Morgan admitted four offences but blamed her son and his girlfriend for the disturbances.
A neighbour who lives near the house said that initially it 'sounded like a porn movie' coming from the bedroom upstairs but 'then people realised it was actually for real', The Sun reported.
Kristin Morgan, 41, of Llay, Wrexham, has been fined £300 after neighbours complained about loud sex noises that 'sounded like a porn movie'
In a hearing at Wrexham Magistrates Court, the offences care worker Morgan admitted were all related to failing to comply with an abatement order that she stop the noise 'created by clearly audible vocalisations relating to lovemaking and loud conversations late at night and in the early morning'.
Morgan's son Aled, 23, said the situation had been a 'nightmare' and the family hadn't meant to upset anyone.
Morgan's pensioner father, son and teenage daughter lived at the property.
Neighbours said they had repeatedly complained to the council as the noise was happening during lockdown and it was 'making some people quite upset'.
They added that the family were given multiple warnings 'but nothing happened' and residents are hoping the decision from the court 'will put an end to it all'.
The offences spanned from December 26, 2021, to April 4.
Morgan's son Aled, 23, said the situation had been a 'nightmare' and the family hadn't meant to upset anyone
Prosecutor Louise Edwards, for Wrexham County Borough Council, said that following a party at the property in July 2020, the authority first became aware of problems with noise.
Miss Edwards said neighbours had numerous recordings of noise issues at the property and despite warning letters and advice provided to the family, there were further complaints, North Wales Live reported.
An enforcement officer had suggested Morgan swap rooms with her son and his girlfriend but after doing so the noise continued so neighbours installed noise monitors.
Miss Edwards said the noise monitor confirmed the loud noises from 'sexual activities' had continued.
She added: 'Neighbours have suffered noise nuisance for an unacceptable period which they described as a horrendous experience which has affected their health.
'They no longer feel happy in their own home and feel on edge.'
In a hearing at Wrexham Magistrates Court (pictured), the offences care worker Morgan admitted were all related to failing to comply with an abatement order that she stop the noise
Morgan, who represented herself in court, told the magistrates she had been trying to save money to insulate her 'rundown' house.
She was fined £300 and will also have to pay £534 in costs.
Court chairman Andrew Stubbs said it was clear the noise needed to stop but they recognised Morgan had taken some steps and that she may be eligible for a grant to insulate the home.
Morgan's son also faces four offences under the Environmental Protection Act but his case has been adjourned in his absence until October.
