ROOTS OF SECRETS

From Qabalistic perspective all the physically sensible aspects of life are reflections of Higher Realm of the Tree of Life but every tree has a root underground which is out of sensible reach yet it is still out there.

We could go further with this analogy describing the shadow sphere of Binah which represents understanding of the divine revelation of the creation, the so called Satariel.

Satariel is considered to be ruled by Lucifuge Rofocale, a demon who, unlike Lucifer — a word known to denote mythical character of "light bearer", — avoids all the light and represents a dark force striving to run away from it, just like the roots of a tree growing in opposite direction to sun above.

Although, all the spheres of the Tree of Life should've had their ten anti-worlds, usually called the Qliphoth, all the already described aspects may be reduced to where the name itself should most likely derive from — what we find under a thick shroud of Jewish mysticism if we are about to call Tree of Death Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil instead — demon Klepoth, from Grimoirum Verum, described as that which makes the magician or a conjurer see all sorts of dreams and visions (this is the same source where we find Lucifuge Rofocale, later transformed into something entirely different with the influence of later practitioners).

The concept of something concealed by symbolism we were touching upon in relation to tarot brings us back to that even the so called Qabalah is what was once the Merkabah or the Chariot of Osiris and thus, just a mere symbol of instrument one can apply through its internal discernment in a day to day life, which has become universal magical system with flow of time.
