Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced R&D Hardware Lead to lead a multidisciplinary engineering team responsible for the design, development, and testing of electrical, electronic, and mechanical hardware systems. Ensure innovative, reliable, and production-ready designs that meet performance, quality, and cost targets.

Job responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the work of electronics, electrical, and mechanical engineers.
• Define system architecture and ensure proper integration of electrical and mechanical designs.
• Oversee schematic, PCB, and mechanical design activities.
• Guide prototype development, testing, and validation.
• Manage documentation, BOMs, and design configuration control.
• Research and apply new technologies and materials.
• Collaborate with Systems, Software, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to ensure successful product development and transition to production.

Required qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Over 5 years of hardware development and team leadership experience.
• Experience in mass production manufacturing or industrialization is a strong plus.
• Strong understanding of both electrical and mechanical design.
• Leadership and team coordination.
• Analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• On-time, high-quality delivery of hardware designs.
• Successful prototype validation and readiness for production.
• Reduced design issues and rework.
• Continuous innovation and team development.
