The system of control activities within an educational component should be preliminary determined to make the RSO: interval control on practical lessons and seminars, colloquiums, reports and defence of laboratory works (or computer practices), any kind of an individual semester task etc. The applicant for higher education enlarges his rating point for the educational component by performing the determined types of work.

The amount of points for an educational component that prescribes the credit test as the semester control shall equal 100, whereas students receive the credit according to the semester work results.

In case when the result of studies for an educational component is attested by the final exam, the RSO usually prescribes that 40-50 points shall be granted for the semester work results and 60-50 points correspondingly shall be granted for the exam results.

Students receive the information about the RSO at the first lecture of the specific educational component; it is given to the student group leader and uploaded to the “E-campus” System.
