**Wildfire Forces Evacuations as Flames Approach Pine Ridge Community**

PINE RIDGE – A rapidly spreading wildfire has prompted mandatory evacuations for residents along Pine Ridge Road as the fire front draws perilously close to backyards and homes. Authorities declared the situation critical overnight as the blaze, dubbed the 'Ridge Fire,' exploded in size under gusty winds and dry conditions.

Firefighters worked through the night to establish containment lines, but the inferno proved relentless. By dawn, thick, ash-filled air blanketed the area, and the glow of flames was visible from several properties. Emergency services went door-to-door in the most threatened subdivisions, urging immediate departure.

'We are facing extremely dangerous fire behavior,' stated Fire Chief Maria Alvarez during a pre-dawn briefing. 'The fire is actively pushing towards residential areas. Our primary focus is life safety. We urge everyone in the evacuation zone to leave now.'
