Qatar's Ras Laffan isn’t just a refinery

Qatar's Ras Laffan isn’t just a refinery.

It’s one of the most important energy hubs in the world.

Qatar exports ~20% of the world’s LNG, and almost all of it goes through Ras Laffan.

It's the core of Qatar’s economy. It processes gas from the North Field (world’s largest gas field) → turns it into LNG, fuels, and petrochemicals.

Attacks or shutdowns there can affect: Gas prices worldwide. Electricity in Europe/Asia.

Even industries like semiconductors (helium production)
