We’re looking for a skilled and proactive QA Engineer to help ensure the stability and quality of our platform and products — through a mix of automated testing, manual acceptance testing, and close collaboration with development and product teams.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain a test strategy for a microservices-based platform (backend, APIs, frontend)
- Write and support automated tests (API, integration, E2E)
- Design test scenarios for REST, GraphQL, and gRPC APIs
- Perform manual testing for new features during the acceptance phase (UI + API)
- Test data processing pipelines and message queues (Kafka, NATS, TSDB, S3)
- Prepare test data and work with Postgres, TimescaleDB, and Redis
- Maintain and improve test documentation (checklists, test cases, bug reports)
What We’re Looking for
- 2–3+ years of experience in QA / AQA roles
- Solid understanding of testing microservices and distributed systems
- Confident experience testing APIs (REST, gRPC, GraphQL)
- Experience writing automated tests in Python (pytest, pytest-asyncio, requests or httpx)
- SQL proficiency (Postgres or Timescale), basic familiarity with Redis
- Experience working with Docker and containerized environments
- Basic understanding of message queues (Kafka, NATS)
- Experience with frontend apps using Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD processes (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD)
- Working with test execution management systems (Allure Report)
You’re a Great Fit If…
- You’ve worked with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Jaeger)
- You’ve done performance/load testing (Locust, k6, JMeter)
- Experience using traffic analyzers (Fiddler, Charles)
- You understand security principles like mTLS, OIDC, or tools like Keycloak
- You’re proactive, methodical, and thrive in fast-paced, engineering-heavy teams
- You like working closely with devs and aren't afraid to go deep into the system
