Job Description
Actual Solution is a leading innovator in healthcare technology, providing cutting-edge solutions that optimize medical billing processes. Our system ensures accuracy, efficiency, and seamless integration with key healthcare platforms, empowering providers to maximize reimbursements and streamline operations.
We are currently expanding the platform’s functionality and are looking for a detail-oriented Manual QA Engineer who will contribute to the ongoing success of our system by ensuring product quality and seamless integration with external healthcare solutions.
Job responsibilities
Functional Testing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, PMs, BAs) to define test strategies aligned with business requirements.
- Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans and test cases.
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to ensure system robustness.
- Perform end-to-end integration testing with third-party healthcare systems, including medical billing platforms
Non-Functional Testing
- Conduct usability and accessibility testing to ensure user-friendliness and inclusivity.
- Execute basic performance validations to confirm responsiveness and stability under typical load.
Security & Sensitive Data Testing
- Perform manual testing of features involving sensitive data, focusing on security-related scenarios and compliance with data protection requirements.
API Testing
- Design and execute API tests using Postman and Swagger.
- Validate request/response integrity, status codes, data accuracy, and error handling across backend services.
Bug Reporting & Agile Collaboration
- Identify, log, and track software bugs and inconsistencies with clear documentation and follow-up.
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in manual Quality Assurance, preferably working on complex web and mobile applications.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience testing web applications built with C#, .NET, and React.
- Familiarity with databases such as PostgreSQL; ability to write basic queries for validation purposes.
- Excellent attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a proactive mindset.
Nice to Have
- Understanding of medical billing workflows.
- Familiarity with automation tools or a willingness to grow into test automation.
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or Swagger.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills in English.
