Position: QA Automation engineer

📍We are looking for a QA Automation engineer for one of the AdTech Holding projects for our Advertisement Department!
Responsibilities:
✔️Set up and look after the QA routine in our team: choose what to test and how to fit testing into our development work.
✔️ Write tests and add automatic testing to our team’s tasks.
✔️Really get to know the product we’re making.
✔️ Look at our testing steps and figure out how to make them better and faster.
✔️Check and upgrade our how-to guides and rules.
✔️Help our newer and mid-level QA folks get better at their jobs. And if we have a QA lead, you'd be in charge of guiding them too.
Hard skills:
✔️ 4+ years of experience with Java automation tools, including:
▪️ For web testing: tools like Selenium or Selenide.
▪️ For fundamental testing: JUnit (preferred) or TestNG.
▪️ For API testing: Retrofit, RestAssured, or similar tools.
▪️ For database interactions: JDBC, Hibernate.
✔️Familiar with SQL and NoSQL databases, especially MySQL and PostgreSQL.
✔️ Comfortable using Docker, Docker Compose, and Unix to set up and manage work environments.
✔️Knowledgeable about setting up and using continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) with tools like TeamCity or Jenkins.
✔️Understands quality assurance practices well.
✔️Capable of handling senior-level and complex tasks on your own.
Soft skills:
Problem-solving, willingness to self-development, leadership, project management, communication skills, mentoring abilities, strategic thinking, experience of work with team management methodologies (scrum, kanban).
