JOB DESCRIPTION
The QA Automation Engineer 2 is involved in the development, execution and maintenance of automated tests to ensure the software created by developers is fit for purpose.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
🔴 Works within established standards within the QA organization
🔴 Ensure high quality software is delivered in each release
🔴 Advance and maintain the test automation framework
🔴 Research and resolve any broken automation scripts that fail during execution
🔴 Develop new automation scripts
🔴 Support manual QA testing efforts in conversion of manual test cases into automated ones
🔴 Update test results in test tracking tool(s)
🔴 Report, track, and manage any discovered defects to resolution
🔴 Work effectively and collaboratively with other members on the product team
🔴 Mentor junior members of the test automation team
REQUIREMENTS
🔻 2+ years of experience in working on large projects/applications
🔻Bachelors in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent
🔻Experienced with writing and executing detailed test cases, test plans and test design documents
🔻 Experienced with application (UI/API/Unit) automation tools, BDD automation tools, monitoring tools, performance testing tools, and automation technologies
🔻 Experience with writing tests in Ruby, Python, or Perl (Ruby is preferred)
🔻 Hands-on experience with test automation in WATIR or Selenium (WATIR is preferred)
🔻Experience working in geographically dispersed teams
🔻 Fluent in English
