About the project:

This project offers the opportunity to contribute to the development of a cutting-edge product designed to help organizations leverage Data & AI. The product is a low-code platform that minimizes dependency on engineers and automates processes such as data ingestion, cleansing, segregation, governance, enrichment, and integration.

7Dxperts is seeking an experienced Python/Django Developer to join their specialized team, working on data ingestion, geospatial, and engineering projects and products. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining applications using Django, Pyramid, or Flask frameworks. An ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of Python, web development principles, and database experience.

The team operates internationally, with members based in the UK, Ukraine, and India.

Candidates who are detail-oriented, organized, and experienced in this field, and who are willing to learn new skills such as PySpark, SparkSQL, and Databricks, are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

• 3+ years of experience as an Application/Python Developer.
• Designing and developing web applications using Python and Django framework, ensuring the applications are user-friendly, responsive, and meet the requirements of the project.
• Familiarity with database systems such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Implementing server-side logic and integrating it with frontend components.
• Building RESTful APIs to facilitate data exchange between different components of the application or with external systems.
• Experience with open-source platforms and Linux system administration is a plus.
• Demonstrate strong skills in following directions, understanding requirements, and communicating effectively with stakeholders.
• Ensure that the design of web applications is consistent with the client's development standards and guidelines.
• Develop and integrate APIs to support front-end functionality.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing applications.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in Python web development.

Requirements and skills:

• Creating and maintaining technical documentation, including application architecture, API documentation, and code comments, to aid in future maintenance and onboarding of new team members.
• Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends, best practices, and advancements in Python, Django, and related technologies.
• Strong proficiency in Python programming language.
• Experience working with Django framework and its ecosystem.
• Good to know programming languages – PySpark & Spark SQL.
• Collaborating with team members and project managers.
• Be agile and ready to take on new challenges.
• Ready to complete certification.
• English – Upper-intermediate.
