Python Developer

Andersen, an international IT сompany, invites an experienced Python Developer to work on a large-scale project in the field of Computer Games.

The customer is a leader in the field of online Games development and publishing. The company was founded in 1998 in Minsk and since then has released more than 15 games on different platforms, including PC, consoles and mobile devices. The company has a global presence and operates from more than 16 offices and studios around the world. The company is headquartered in Nicosia, Cyprus. It is committed to creating legendary online games with passion and professionalism.

The project is development of a desktop application of the game.

Responsibilities:

-Working with the gameplay within the framework of a self-written engine, based on algorithms, sorting, searching, computing - computer science.

Must-haves:

- Commercial development experience for 3+ years.

- Knowledge and willingness to code in Python.

- Basic knowledge of C/C++.

- Experience in desktop or embedded programming.

- Demonstrated desire and capability to develop desktop applications for Windows.

- General knowledge of networking.

- Understanding TCP/IP.

- Strong grasp of data structures (understanding of purpose, differences, advantages).

- Knowledge of basic search and sorting algorithms.

- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

- Level of English – from Intermediate and above.

Nice-to-haves:

- Experience with profiling and optimization tools.

- Basic knowledge of what components a game server consists of.

- Understanding of linear algebra, including vectors and matrices.
